Ordered from Skipthedishes, food came quick and was generally pretty good. My issue is with the milk tea—it was hideously sweet to the point of being undrinkable, and way too rich (very heavy). I couldn't drink more than a few sips. I would eat here again but I will never order bubble tea from them again.

Tried once. Would never go there again because the size is so small even for a small girl. And even worse, the taste is not good at all. I really hope they can make it a better taste.

Delicious beef noodle soup

Ordered deluxe chicken fried rice. First of all the food is just rice soaked in soy sauce and the chicken is okay.

I ordered food off skip the dishes and my god. Disgusting. So many people recommended the chicken fried rice, it is disgusting. It's white rice SOAKED in soy sauce with dry chicken on top. The deep fried wontons are just flavourless scraps of shrimp in the nastiest wonton wrapping. The only edible thing I could eat was the deep fried chicken wings, which were subpar. I pray that I never have fried rice like this again. Still gagging at the thought of it. I'm appalled at how many people think this food is good.

Friendly, hard working staff. Their chicken fried rice is always a good choice.

I’ve been watching the building, that La Maison Da Nang now occupies, go up for what seems like ages now and it seemed like the restaurant would never open. When their open sign finally lit up, I decided to give it a go. If there’s another Vietnamese restaurant that can satiate my desire for spring rolls on top of a bed of vermicelli, I’m down!

Driven past this place numerous times but never had any interest in giving it a go, until recently. Judging from the posters advertising student specials and bubble tea, this place must definitely cater to the local crowd, specifically David Thompson students lol. I decided to order the Chicken Fried Rice (10.50). The fried rice, although quite brown, is lacking in flavour for some reason. I'd recommend using that soy/vinegar sauce on it to keep it moist and tasty. The chicken itself was crispy and juicy, though the pieces were a bit on the thin/small side. In contrast to the rice, these were SUPER salty. On a separate occasion I managed to give the popcorn chicken fried rice a go, and had the same result where the chicken was super salty and the rice was on the blander side. Not sure how the Vietnamese style soups or the Curry rice dishes are here, but I hope they're better than the fried rice dishes.

We order delivery through skip the dishes very often. Partner gets chicken fried rice with extra fish sauce and loves it. I get the customize your own noodle dish: laksa soup, raman, extra bean sprouts, fish ball and beef ball. Also get a drink. Together with tip comes to around $23-$25. I gave only 4/5 stars because quite a few times I ordered beef ball and they give me another type of beef and last time we ordered I ordered the curry soup but they gave laksa! Not sure if they are out of things and just add a substitute or if they misread the order. Good food and price though :) also the times weve eaten at the restaurant the service was average.
