Once we figured out it was queso on the nachos, we enjoyed them much more. Initial feeling was it was just a sauce. They were very good.

Two of us stopped here for a late lunch on a Thursday after shoppkng. There were a few tables available, which should have been a clue, but we were clueless about it being a Blue Jays vs Mariners game day until we sat down and looked at the monitors. We had about half an hour to enjoy our meal: the cottage pie/ of seafood chowder combo and beef and Guinness pie (?) with chips for my friend, both of which were hot and tasty. Although my friend said pie crust was a bit hard to cut into. Service was good. Then it got really loud. The TV audio was ratcheted up (painfully so!) and the groups were rowdy. So we left pretty quickly.
I have fond memories of lunches at this pub when I worked downtown so i'll be back.

The Lion has excellent Sheppard's pie.
And, the price points were very good considering their location.
Highly recommend!

Went out for a company lunch today — Miranda, our server, was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious — very impressed with the freshness and quality.

Great British pub fare in a space reflecting that atmosphere. Guinness steak pie was delicious and great service and drinks selection.

Fantastic pub in the heart of the city, close to the harbor. One of the best meals I had while I was in town. Staff was amazing, food was fantastic, and the vibe and aesthetic of the place really captures its British roots.

Scotch Eggs! Do it! Lose to the sky train. Close to Canada Place. Short walk to Gastown. Rent a scooter next door and head for Stanley Park.

What a great British pub in Vancouver, would recommend a visit, great food, but there is a speakeasy bar (snug) great cocktails, highly recommended this as a must go to place, food was good quality, may need to wait, as cooked and prepared on order. Highly rated.
