Stumbled upon this restaurant and was a nice find. Excellent vegetarian options. We ordered a variety of food and it was all delicious. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. We’ll be back!

Delicious and high quality dim sum for reasonable prices! There’s really nothing not to like here. The soup dumplings were a highlight for me. All the sauces were super great too.

I guess because they had Michelin stars I expected more. I thought the atmosphere was nice and service was great, but I found it too greasy and not enough options like a traditional dim sum place. I think go to a traditional dim sum place if the taste is what going for, but come here if you want a trendy dining experience

Super frustrated that Little Bird’s business listing shows they are open until 2pm but the close their kitchen at 1:30pm. It’s deep fried glorified fast food people. Thanks for impacting my otherwise enjoyable afternoon. UPDATE 10/26/24: it happened again. Showed up 50 minutes before listed closing time of 2:30pm. Please update your listing to be truthful to the time that you would take new customers. Michelin will be getting an update from me too.

Little Bird is a gem! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our small party feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and delivered steaming hot. We chose Little Bird to celebrate a birthday and were so happy to mark the occasion there. Don’t miss out on their specialty items, especially the chive and shrimp dumplings and the steamed BBQ pork bun – they’re a must-try! Highly recommend for a delightful dining experience.

The food was good, service was fast but not very personal, kinda limited menu. Not very good for kids.

The receptionist did not know how to deal with on-line reservations and walk-in customers.
One lady alone before us in line got a table as soon as we all walked in the restaurant without reservations. It seemed like we could get a table soon.
The receptionist looked at her computer with one hand holding it, and another hand playing with her hair. We were not informed of how long the wait would be at all.
She said one table of 4 was for a 7:30 and later she said it was for 8:00. She looked so confused.
We ended up waiting for 30 min. and decided to leave.
You should stand someone with more experience in the front. Otherwise, you will waste other people's valuable time.

It's alright, though I expected more from a Michelin-recommended restaurant. Most of the dishes we tried were okay if not forgettable, such as the Ha Gow, Siu Mai, Pork Bun, Spareribs, etc. There were a few standouts such as the Dry Garlic Spareribs, the Scallop Taro Puff, and the Green Tea Sesame Ball that elevated Little Bird slightly above a typical dim sum place but we were hoping for more. Overall a decent but a tad disappointing experience.

So good and well priced. Every dish was special. Scallop taro puff is insanely delicious. Finished off with the matcha sesame balls for dessert and I am still daydreaming about them...just way too good. Decent service, I appreciated that they brought many sauces for us to try and explained each of them and how best to enjoy them. Excellent vegetarian options too.

Vegetarian options: Crispy bean curd roll is great!!

Booked for a group of 10 (mentioned the special occasion in the reso)- I proposed to my girlfriend that day and wanted to go to one of our dates spots as a nice way to celebrate our engagement with friends. We arrived at 6:30 and we're taken to our table. We did not have a single interaction with a server until 7:04. That's 34 minutes without a greeting or service. We then received water jugs but had to wait an additional 10 minutes for glasses. We were given 2 menus for the table and when we asked for a 3rd menu we were told no. The food was great as usual but was overshadowed by the horrible service we received. I felt second hand embarrassment bringing my closest friends to celebrate something so special with me and receiving some of the worst service I've gotten in Vancouver.

Love coming here. Service was great today. One of the waiters was on top of everything! He always was polite with a smile. Food was great except one item. The glutinous balls. They were so hard , not like normal. We still ate them ?. Will be back.

Probably the best shumai and har gow I’ve had after having dim sum at a million other restaurants. The beers are measly and not real pints but that’s okay

Great location, service was swift and timely. However, the food was underwhelming and overall experience disappointing. Perhaps I expected more from a now former Michelin Star restaurant.
