Great coffee
My partner and I finally visited Little Cafe with high hopes for their croissant after it went viral a few years ago. We ordered an iced americano, iced chai latte and a coffee croissant. The coffee croissant was cold to start and it was not flaky/buttery at all. It was extremely dense inside, which is not what we expected. The coffee flavour of the cream was okay, but not amazing. We could tell right away it was not fresh. Also there were so many fruit flies in their pastry display, which made it feel unsanitary.
As for the service, the employee had mistakenly brought hot Americano, so my partner reminded the barista that she had ordered an iced americano. The barista brought out a cup with ice and just stood there looking at my partner, to which my partner asked if she should pour the americano into the iced cup herself. The barista said yes, so my partner just poured it into the iced cup. This isn’t the biggest deal, but considering we were the only customers there and the barista was not doing anything else, this example of service wasn’t very impressive.
After our visit, we read other reviews with similar experiences regarding their croissants. We sincerely hope the cafe will improve upon their pastries and service.

I used to really love coming here, especially when they first opened, I didn’t even mind lining up! The croissants were so good back then that I’d buy several at a time.
Unfortunately, the quality has gone down over time. I stopped ordering the drinks and focused just on the croissants, but even those haven’t been the same. On my most recent visit, I picked up three croissants to bring to a friend’s house for a tea time, and they were so dense and disappointing that I honestly don’t feel like coming back.
It makes me sad to say this because I was such a fan in the beginning. I can see I’m not the only one noticing the change. I really hope they bring back the quality and care they started with.
Food quality has gone significantly down since they opened. When I first went there, the croissant was buttery, hot, and flakey.
I had a really good memory of it, so I took my boyfriend to try it and celebrate my birthday. The staff member gave us the display croissant, but we didn’t think much of it because I thought it was a fresh croissant. When we got home an hour later and cut it in half, the croissant (we got the mont blanc) was extremely dense and the filling was sour. Chestnut fillings are usually sweet, so upon tasting, I told my boyfriend to stop eating it as I thought it has gone off (he had already eaten half of it).
Extremely disappointed. I feel ripped off. $14 for an old croissant that’s gone stale, sour, and pose as a food hazard? I hope we don’t get sick from it tonight.

My Go-To Spot for Coffee & Calm 🧘♂️☕️
Tucked away in the middle of busy Robson, this place is a little oasis. Their cappuccino is always spot on, and they have some of the flakiest pastries in town. Love that they do curbside pickup too. Staff are quiet but polite, and I always find a seat. Perfect for a quick recharge or light catch-up with friends.

A Hidden Gem on Robson ☕️✨
This cozy little cafe totally surprised me! Their lattes are smooth and rich, and the pastries are baked to perfection — I had a butter croissant that honestly rivaled ones I’ve had in Paris. Super clean space, calm vibe, and fast, kind service. A perfect stop if you’re walking down Robson and want something quality.

Very cute and cozy spot
Absolutely terrible. The owner and managers should be ashamed of themselves. I went there for the first time about a week ago and the food was terrible. Since then I have told a few friends and heard terrible stories of how the management have treated their employees. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I would give these croissants zero rating if possible. I went towards closing on June 11 and there were 4 pieces left out of which I bought 3 croissants (matcha, black sesame and Mont Blanc chestnut flavor). The Mont Blanc and sesame were pretty off in taste and the creams were melting. By the time I reached home within an hour it was already smelly and moldy. The dough was pretty dense and no cream and was terribly stale in taste. I have been visiting this place since it opened but the food quality and service has definitely gone really really low. Serving stale food in such hot weather is a big no. Maybe the leadership team should have their kitchen employees take some food service and handling courses so they can differentiate between food that is fresh and that has gone bad especially bakery items. Totally unacceptable!
Great pastries!
