This branch specifically has Sukiyaki soup which is a Japanese style soup base, with a sweet note. It goes really well with the beef slices.
Love the option for a bbq grill which is different from what we tried in Edmonton. The food quality is good for AYCE. Nothing to complain for the food but the soup base and bbq grill stand out in my memory.
The only issue was there were only 2 staff members in the front and while they both did a fantastic job, I feel like they could use some help as one of them was almost half run/walk the whole time.

I had an amazing experience at Liuyishou Hotpot! The all-you-can-eat option offers fantastic variety, with fresh ingredients and flavorful broth choices that make it easy to tailor each hotpot to your liking. To be honest, it is very authentic here. The bottom of the pot is very authentic to Sichuan. The big Frisbee is very innovative and really affordable.
The service was a bit uncomfortable as the waiter repeatedly asked "Have you been to our restaurant before", but I don't think this affected the current meal. And the attitude of the waiter was weird.
Secondly, there will be cases where the food is missed, but the speed of the food itself is okay, maybe because there are not many people eating at noon.
We ordered hot pot with BBQ, and the paper on the grill mat in the middle has never been changed. I don’t know if this restaurant doesn’t change it, which affects the grilled ingredients later. For this price, you can have a better dining experience at other self-service hot pot restaurants.

Not going to lie, at first this place seemed chaotic ! It was super busy, and a line was out the door.. but then we got helped out by a hostess named Ivy. She got us a table, checked on us frequently and made sure everything was to our liking.
The food was excellent ! Very flavourful (and plentiful). I tried pretty much everything on the menu, and didn’t find a single thing I didn’t like.
