We traveled from Philadelphia and absolutely loved this place. Our server, Lexy, was outstanding and really made our day with her personality and service. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

Jesse was very helpful in squeezing in a 15 person reservation for 7pm on a Friday night while the Taylor swift concerting was going on. Chelsea was a gem of a server as well!

The place was busy when we stopped by, and we were offered seating at the bar, which was fine until we realized it wasn't cleaned. The waitress placed the menus down and left, expecting us to sit in the filth of the people who were there before us. The counter was dirty, there were 4 used glasses directly in front of us, as well as a stack of plates and a hat directly next to us (which didn't belong to any of the patrons sitting at the bar). We just walked out, because it felt pointless to complain about being treated this way.

This place is aweseome. Very accommodating on a busy busy Taylor swift night for a party of 15. Chelsea was fabulous as well!! She played Doja for me! Crystal was not as accommodating for the music request but she worked very hard to serve us and made zero mistakes!

If you want to feel like a true Vancouver local, this is the place to stop by! The food is fantastic and the drink selection is extensive. The team here treat you like you’re best buddies, I never have a bad time at Local! Shout out to Jake at the bar, you’re the best!!

I’ve been to Local in Gastown now about 4 times now since September and have always had such a terrific experience that it was way overdue to share.
The food has been great with unique flavours, loved the crazy tempura shrimp and the tasty little perogies, add the local burger and you’ve made my day.
The manager, Marcel introduced himself and continued to check in and made the entire experience outstanding. Each time he made it seem like a special occasion with ease and consideration and I couldn’t help to want to come back.
Great atmosphere, very good food and being treated well……five out of five⭐️

Perfect spot for a girls' night out! Came here for a couple of drinks and loved the cozy atmosphere, perfect for a rainy evening with friends. Special thanks to the manager, Marcel, who made a great impression and ensured everything was perfect.
