LOCAL Public Eatery River District

We visit Local often because we live nearby and it's reliably good. We had our second year in a row Christmas Eve lunch there yesterday and will certainly do the same next year. It was cozy, tasty and a lovely little family outing before the busy days ahead.

Our server was excellent. She allowed enough time between the appetizers and the main course, Very loud due to a large group made it difficult to hear anybody talking

Chloe was the host and also our server. She was amazing - she was on top of her tables and also the guests who were checking in. She gave us some food and drink recommendations which were very tasty! We loved the nachos, a new menu item, and also our fave the fully loaded potatoes. I loved the Mango Bubble Tease! Best Boba ever!

Not busy during a THU lunch. Had reservations so we were seated promptly. Server was energetic and friendly. Food was yummy but on the smaller portion of what you would expect for the price. Appy was pricey, but was comped as we had guests that were eating there for the first time. This was really appreciated and gave a great first impression, if only the bowls were larger.

Overall good. I didn't like sharing a table with a child on other side of the lamp (Felt I needed to filter my conversation) But overall good and great food. Server was great! New to Vancouver from Nova Scotia. Very attentive! Can't remember her name!

Caught the world series here and the atmosphere was great. Our server was very attentive even with a full house.

I enjoyed my peanut skewered chicken noodle bowl. It was very flavourful full and the presentation was nice with radishes and sliced veggies. Perfect crunch!

Food was ok, decor nice, great for watching a game, but for dinner with girlfriends too loud. Speakers right over head with hockey announcements, made it difficult to talk/hear. Have been before on the patio in summer which was nice, but will not go again on a game night.

We come here as a group, once a month and tonight was our best experience by far. Natalia was friendly, efficient and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She managed our group of 20 people without issue from beginning to end.

This venue is amazing. It’s a really cool vibe and very clean. The staff is professional and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend the trophy room for a private events

Lovely place for brunch! Good for babies/kids/big groups. Clean bathroom with baby change station. Food was yummy. Outdoor patio seating was nice!

Came for lunch on a Friday with a colleague. Food was great as always, but our server Ella was even better. Super friendly. Made some food recommendations that were helpful too.
