We really enjoyed our evening here!
Our waiter Mathias was very nice and helped us choose our drinks and food.
Their Mocha Espresso Martini and Aperol Sour were the best!
We started with burrata as an appetizer and continued with Mortadella pizza (Mamma Mia pizza) and Agnolotti - sooo good!!!
We ended the perfect evening with pistachio tiramisu, which I really enjoyed!
The only thing was that it was our anniversary, so we got our main course before I had finished my appetizer, so by the time I started eating my main course, it was already quite cold...

Amazing experience at Locanda dell’Orso for a weekday lunch when they open for the day :)
The food was phenomenal - especially their lobster roll and pasta - really delicious with their meat and sauce! Amazing authentic tiramisu too!
It got a bit busy with many people all came in at once when they open for the day so the wait was a bit longer, but overall great dining experience:)!

It was a family birthday dinner and we were very disappointed. The nocci and risotto were very average one would expect more for the price. The cavotelli was barely edible. It was under cooked, poorly seasoned and over salted. The sausage meatballs were hard and tasteless. Overall the service was good but the food was not acceptable. We would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone .

Such a good Italian spot! Everything is made fresh in house - even the pasta and pizza dough. I'm obsessed with their desserts. Make sure you get the pistachio tiramisu

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I could give this place six stars, I would: one for every meatball I inhaled. The meatballs? Life changing. The pizza? Crispy perfection. And don’t even get me started on the espresso martini, it cured my seasonal depression and possibly my trust issues. 10/10 would cancel plans just to come back again🍝🍕☕️ The staff is super friendly and welcoming especially after we accidentally went in the wrong set of doors 🙈😂

I discovered this place last week, and yes of course the food was incredible, but what really sealed the deal on this place, was the hospitality. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to make the evening special.
It's such a cute date spot, and is definitely going to be one of my regular spots now. If you're looking to impress a date, or a cute girls night out, this is definitely the spot.

I had an incredible lunch at Locanda dell’Orso everything tasted so fresh. The Lobster Maritozzi was rich and butter the Rigatoni alla Vodka had a creamy pomodoro sauce with sweet little green peas that were such a nice surprise, and the Ricotta Gnocchi Pomodoro was perfectly soft and comforting. Finished with the Panna Cotta which I lovvvved.

Authentic Italian lunch at Locanda dell’Orso in downtown Vancouver. This elegant spot is bringing the warmth and hospitality of an Italian home to the midday meal. The focus is on fresh, house-made pasta—from the comforting Rigatoni alla Vodka to a classic perfectl Polpette. Their menu also features stunning pizza, Torno Subito with Burrata, and delightful desert, Panna Cotta. With dishes inspired by Northern and Coastal Italy, every plate is a a true culinary escape. Buon appetito!

One of the best Italian gems in Vancouver 🇮🇹✨ A true slice of Italy!
What we got (⭐️ faves):
⭐️ Focaccia – house-made, olive oil butter perfection
Burrata
Lobster Roll – buttery & rich
Agnolotti del Plin – braised veal, al dente goodness
⭐️ Mama Mia Pizza – chewy mochi texture, charred crust, amazing toppings
Tiramisu
And yes… their drinks are also solid🍹
