Went there for a quick happy hour with my friend, Frank was so lovely! Such an engaging and genuinely happy owner! Plus the halloumi. Omfg
Went for lunch yesterday with wife and mother in law, who's visiting from Japan. She raved about her caramelized pear and Brie grilled sandwich on sour dough. Wife said her grilled asparagus and Brie eggs Benedict was fabulous. I'm a bit of a burger nut. I wanted to try the BC brisket chuck burger, so I ordered it without bacon or mushrooms. It was one of best burgers I've eaten! Aside from a great lunch experience, we also thoroughly enjoyed the warm service, comfortable vibe and stimulating atmosphere. Wife and I as well as those we recommend Locus to will definitely be going here! Simply a wonderful place. Thank you!

Beautiful decor and delicious food but tiny tiny portions at full prices. We ordered a breakfast dish with pork, veggies and meat and for both of us they literally forgot the entire meat from the dish. They did bring out meat once we corrected them but that’s a pretty big error. We were both still hungry after eating. They fruit bowl was comically small, 2 cherries, a sixth of a slice of orange, and literally HALF of one strawberry! Plus they charge $1.75 for coffee refills and never came around to ask if we want the bill or anything. In fact they never came around for a first round to order drinks.
