Loku is the BEST gluten free sushi in Vancouver, by far. They have the freshest tasting fish and offers such a robust menu of gluten free options. I appreciate this place a lot, and always love going. The restaurant serves some of the best sushi in town. Love love love it!!

It was such a nice day, and I wanted to eat on the patio. For all you dog owners it's perfect. The staff loves dogs and you can tie them out front. There's also plenty of parking all around.
We ordered the chefs house special aburi, wow very delicious, great start. Then the crazy boy roll, very good. Then the salmon and mango salad. That salad didn’t meet my expectations but it was still good 😊.
Finally we ordered some ikura nigiri and Hamachi nigiri, very fresh. And last the negitoro aburi, WOW DOUBLE WOW... The negitoro is delicious! I totally recommend this dish to any negitoro lover!
I would love to come back again and try other items 😁

I am a big woman. The waiter tried to squeeze me between 2 people behind the narrow table - i refused and was seated in kind of service area far from the window, even though some much more pleasant seats were available. Food was very cheap, but I did not get the pleasure from food that I expected. In my bento teriyaki chicken box chicken piece was very small and not sure if teriyaki sauce was anywhere close to it :(, rice in sushi was very strange...if you are really hungry and need quick fix $10 bento box will do, but if you are looking for authentic food experience- you will not get it here....

Food is definitely having a lot of room to improve I never had such Japanese ramen before Mushroom and bean sprouts in the noodle. It feels like have rice noodle at a Vietnamese restaurant. The sashimi don is on the very light portion as well. Better choices elsewhere
Got takeout. Spicy salmon sashimi is not bad, cut is good, sauce is okay not too spicy, a lot of sesame seeds and the cucumbers are pickled which is interesting, but a bit over powering, smaller portioning too but it's reflected in its price, solid 7.5/10. Oshi really salty, and has soft rice, but there isn't too much rice, also the tops are pretty thin, solid 6/10. The Kamikaze is also not bad, also pretty saucy, but not overly salty, solid 7.5/10. Awesome roll is kinda average, or below, solid 4/10. Overall solid 7/10.

This is truly an amazing place! they have so many unique and delicious items throughout the entire menu. from the coconut crunch tuna, to the beautifully made loku aburi platter, and oshisushi avocado, i was beyond impressed and satisfied with every dish. i’d happily come here again and i implore everyone to give this place a try
