My husband and I were pleasantly surprised after being recommended to this restaurant by a dear friend. The food was so good delicious, the horchata and spicy margaritas were just on point! And the churros! Holy moly it was delicious! The service was very attentive, Alberto was wonderful at giving us suggestions. Definitely planning to go back again soon & thank you for being dog friendly too.

A small neighbourhood Mexican restaurant serving simple delicious Mexican dishes being made by a husband-wife team back in the kitchen. A great go-to for an inexpensive decent meal.

Los Chavos was super busy when we arrived and there was only one server (who was also working the bar). The wait was long but the margarita was perfect and the veggie tacos were the best I've had.

Los Chavos is consistently great. Delicious Mexican food and efficient, friendly service. All at a good price. It's family owned. And that shows in the quality. Bonus, the location is close to Stanley Park seawall and English Bay Beach.

My girlfriend and I got horrible food poisoning from this restaurant. Although the food did not taste bad, I would not recommend unless you want to risk suffering for the next few days.

Visited last night, and I have to say, it is some of the BEST Mexican food I've had in Van. The Birria tacos were full of flavour and hearty and the margaritas were excellent! Location is small, but very comfy, and the prices are very, very reasonable. Though being the only server on a busy Saturday night, Sebastian was attentive and exceptionally conversational; and he makes a mean margarita! Full five stars across the board. Visit now!
