Dueling Pianos is a nice way to relax on the weekend. Thanks!

A very comfortable lounge located on level 3 of the Parq Casino. Offers very comfortable and spacious seating to sit back and enjoy a drink, while listing to the live music. The bar offers a large range of drinks and cocktails.

I love this place. I love the live entertainment. I would like to see a variety of performers as the pianist duo have always been there for more than a year already. I love them but would appreciate something different to watch and listen to once in awhile.

Fun place for a drink. The bartender is great.

I notice this place only has 4 reviews, 4! It is a hidden gem inside the Parq Vancouver hotel! It's a nice little whiskey and the cocktail bar with comfy seating nestled in the high roller area of the casino. I decided to stop in for a quick old fashioned on my way back to my room. My bar tender Chloe made a fantastic old fashioned, and was very nice! They have pretty much any whiskey you could want, and other spirits as well. They also do these tea cocktails I don't know much about but might have to try! It's definitely worth checking out if you're around, but beware it's pretty noisy from the casino and there is loud music.

This bar is located in the middle of the casino floor. This isn't a cozy bar to grab some whiskey and tea unfortunately. They had a good idea but the design was poorly done with it being a open bar and being surrounded by the casino with all the players, lights and sounds. At this visit my friends only ordered the whiskey and I passed on getting any tea because I found the prices way to high. The drinks weren't anything fancy for the high prices they were marked at. This isn't a place I would come to visit again.

This place is awesome. But don't show up at the Marriott and expect the location to be obvious. We asked the bell boy outside where the scotch bar was and he said he'd never heard of it. Luckily the young lady at the restaurant was able to direct us to the third floor. The place is calm and beautiful and the service is attentive.

I thought with a name like the Lotus Whiskey and Tea Lounge that the ambiance would be a slightly mysterious, cosy dark panelled space tucked into a corner of the large casino with staff steeped in the traditions of serving tea and whiskey. That vision couldn't be further from the actual venue which is more like a gigantic elegant public washroom with a large expanse of ivory white furniture on two tiers, a very long creamy white stone bar and a flock of lacy cut out drum light fixtures, all with a slightly mid century modern edge. It's plunked at the top of a long escalator and right in the middle of the casino between busy baccarat tables and dozens of flashing slot machines. While there is a tea menu and the far end of the bar does have shelving with large gold tea canisters, I quickly learned that not everything listed is in stock. While the young man behind the bar on Saturday afternoon was sweet and polite and able to follow some very specific written directions in regard to heating the water and steeping the tea leaves, the whole process lacked a sense of ritual. This was especially true because this young bartender was alone and also pouring soda water and apple juice and the occasional cocktail for a large party of giggly teenage girls and one enigmatic Douglas College student while making my tea. The tea itself was served in an off white tiny ceramic teapot and a plain Jane Ikea type cup. I had to settle on my third choice, a type of Pu'er tea--a fermented tea, which the menu pointed out had essences of earth and leather and mushrooms. It also had a slightly skanky smell of food scraps left too long in a summer hot garage garbage can, which did provide the only exotic element in the whole experience. I paid $8.00 before my tip. When I first entered the space I sat on the lower tier in a comfy chair next to an alabaster coffee table. I saw the bartender and a waitress notice me but no one approached to take my order so after a number of minutes I made my way to the bar and sat on a stool close to the tea canisters. The young women also seemed to need to come to the bar to be served. I never saw the waitress again after my first sighting and I probably sat at the bar for half an hour chatting with the bartender and the puzzling foreign student.
