Hidden gem vibes. Had dinner here with a friend on a Friday night. I had the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl with vegetarian spring roll while friend had the beef pho with regular spring rolls (as appy). Food was delicious but highlight for me were the crunchy and hot rice paper wrapped spring rolls. So good. Staff were super friendly, fast and efficient. Washrooms spotless. 3 parking spots in the rear of the restaurant but plenty of free street parking. Will go back to try their lunch combo specials Mon to Thursdays.

Went in at around 4 in the afternoon in Jan 31st. Me and my friend ordered 2 banhmi. Few minutes later, the lady at the front said that if we wanted to sub in a separate bag and we said yes please. When she was transferring the other sub to a different bag, a carrot from the sandwich fell and she picked it up with her fingers and put it in her mouth. I was shocked and didn’t say anything. When we got the sub, we saw that there’s jalapeños on it which when we ordered we said no jalapenos. The lady literally took the jalapenos out of the sandwich fell USING HER FINGERS. I was like wow! Very unsanitary. I have told her not to do that because she kept touching other stuff with her hands and dirty. Me and my friend left, the lady said she’s going to change the sub but we are not comfortable anymore. Apparently, when I called she was the one who picked up the call and said she’s the manager. Very surprised with what she did.

Have been ordering takeout here regularly since they opened the new location - the older woman with the longer bob haircut is lovely and knows what she’s doing. The two women with shorter haircuts consistently get orders wrong and insist that the iced coffees are supposed to be less than halfway full. I’ve ordered Vietnamese iced coffee at so many places in Vancouver and it’s never served as such a small amount for the price of $7.50. And the fact that the other nice woman who works there makes it correctly further proves that it shouldn’t be served less than half full. I’ve attached a photo of the coffee that costs $7.50 - and this is after my walk home and had already melted a bit.
Was a regular here for awhile, from the time they had their location on Kingsway. Recently ordered two lemongrass chicken Banh Mi's for takeout and the qualify definitley went down. The meat was over tenderized and tasted extremeley salty (could hardly tell it was chicken) , huge slices of cucumber were put in there (seemed out of place). We were alright with overlooking the one time bad experiecne. But we both experienced food poisoning afterwards and that did it for us. Hope it was a one time thing, but we wont be trying them out again for awhile.

First time here after my brother in law told me about it. Their combo menu is definitely a good deal! $14.95 for a bowl of pho, a springroll and an ice coffee....where are you going to find value like this in Vancouver?

I've been such into Vietnamese food recently. :P
When I ordered the Vegetarian Spring rolls with Vermicelli (Bún Chà Giò Chay), I was expecting a light dinner. When it came out, there were 3 spring rolls. It was quite a big bowl of food!
The rolls are made with rice paper. It's a different texture of crispiness. At the table, there's chili oil, hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce.
The waitress gave me more dipping sauce. :D
Generous portions. Good value!

Recently relocated to a bright and welcoming new spot at 2934 Kingsway, they continue to serve up the authentic, home-style flavors that locals have come to love.
Lunch specials are available.

If you go during happy hour the prices are good. Food is mediocre. We were the only table there, with 3 people, and the server got our order mixed up.

The Missus and I visited Love for Pho at its new location on Kingsway. Parking was available mainly at the adjacent side streets. We were there on a weekday and service was fine as it was not too busy.
We had the lunch combo specials of Lemongrass Chicken on Rice and the Chicken Banh Mi Sandwich. Flavour wise, the food was above average and the specials were of good value. We both enjoyed our Vietnamese coffee. We will need to try the Pho on our next visit.
UPDATE:
I returned for the Beef Brisket Pho and the Missus, a dry pork & seafood rice noodle bowl. We had another Chicken Banh Mi to share though the restaurant ran out of cilantro. The food was your standard quality, nothing exceptional. It would be nice to have a dollar tip option instead of percentages when cashing out. Minimum tipping starts at 15%.

I’m so glad we came here. My boyfriend and I have been on a hunt for the best pho in the lower mainlands, and out of at least 15 different spots, this has got to be in the top 3. The broth was very nicely balanced, fragrant but not overpowering. The server was lovely and energetic and helped to make it a very pleasant experience. We will be back :)

Yelp friend Mike invited me here for a lunch. Turns out their deal is MUCH better than Pho Superbowl. I was a loyal fan for Superbowl for sometime until discovering this place.
I remember they were located next to Sassy Cuts 10 years ago. Not sure if owners are same people. Their lunch combo deals are too good to be true. We had Pho Combo which includes iced coffee and spring roll for $14.95. Food and the price itself were very impressive. Other Pho places can definitely charge more than this.
Pho was flavourful not greasy. Noodle was thin, but everything else was fantastic so it didn’t matter at all. Spring roll was crispy and delicious. We had a memorable experience dining here. I see myself going back there one day. Tina and other staffs were friendly. Highly recommend Love for Pho!
