We really enjoyed Lupo's. We have the octopus mosaic for our appetizer and it was delicious. We both got different seafood pasta dishes and they did not disappoint. Good size portions, excellently seasoned. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Great service, although the dinner rush started coming in we felt well tended to. I highly recommend.
The table, looking down onto the street, in an old West End Vancouver heritage house, is lovely. The food and service exquisite. My delicious veal chop was a generous portion, for a generous $79. My wife's Merguez Lamb Rigatoni was equally good, for half the $. The price is the only reason we wouldn't dine at Lupo more often. Over CAD400 all in, for two of us, including a nice $160 bottle of wine... far from the costliest on the list.
This is a must restaurant for people traveling to Vancouver. I can't begin to tell you how you how great the experience was on all elements. It was on the pricier side but well worth it.
