We had a delicious meal with superb, friendly, and helpful service. Our starters were the foie gras parfait — perfect— and a tasty radicchio salad. We split the bolognese pasta— it was outstanding and portions were generous, even split. Reminiscent of dining in Rome. They have a great wine list here and we shared a bottle of fine Brunello.
The food and service was good, being seated at a table on a porch deck that is enclosed not what I would suggest the best ambience for dining, especially when most of the tables on the inner area of restaurant were available the entire time while we were there, in fact the porch deck seating area where we were seated was filled completely making that space for seating feeling somewhat confining.
Lilo is one of my most favourite restaurants in Vancouver. Service is impeccable as is the delicious food. Room can get a bit noisy but it doesn't take away from the overall experience!
