This is an unassuming cafe, one you may walk past without a second glance. Don't miss out. We used it for breakfast on three mornings. For 7 Canadian Dollars you can have a breakfast toastie and a coffee. The food is simple but delicious, the coffee is excellent and the service is very friendly and good. There is a fine, selection of sandwiches, ice cream, pastries and cakes. We had a muffin and some baklava, delicious.1

What a wonderful cafe! We dropped in for a coffee and tea and were pleasantly surprised to see more than the typical coffee shop fare that's usually based on French or German baked goods. Not that we have anything against those, but it's predictably routine. At Magic Mug, there are many middle-eastern styled treats, savory and sweet, and it was difficult to choose. We ended up selecting four and each was delicious and fresh! Unfortunately, I realized after finishing that I'd forgotten to take photos - never mind, a great excuse to come back and try more! The service was excellent! A genuine feeling of welcome and friendliness. The coffee and tea were great too!

I had purchased 3 coffees. One for me and two for friends. It was the worst tasting coffee I ever had.

Absolutely love this cozy little cafe! The homemade food tastes fresh and flavorful. Whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast, lunch, or even dinner on the go, they've got something for everyone. Tons of great options, and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. It’s become one of my go-to places whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Tried and wanted to like it but just doesn’t make any sense to me.

- You get a cold premade plastic container when you order takeout.
- Restaurant prices, grocery store frozen aisle quality.
- I heated the food and it turned out to be dry and tasteless. I can’t justify paying over $25 for a leftover tasting main and a side salad.

Respect to the owners and I wish them luck, but this place just doesn’t sit right with me.

I think Downtown Vancouver really needed a place like Caspian Castle Food. I really like their finger foods. Don’t forget to try their Pizza😋😋 10/10
