The service has improved since they opened. The salmon tika is very good. My friend enjoyed the lamb chops. The wine is overpriced. $15 for 5oz of French rose which is $15 in BC liquor store is a bit much (even by Vancouver standards ). If I return will be for Happy Hour when wine price is more reasonable.

Wonderful view, amazing food. However the service was not good. How server was also the bartender, after taking our order didn't come back to ask if we wanted anything else. We had to ask another server for our bill.

Great Ambience, great patio when the sun is out. Food is good, but a little on the pricer side compared to the portion. Cocktails are awesome (must try).

The place is under new management and new name. I was expecting more unique cuisine. The food was ok, the wait staff was very inexperienced and unorganized. The decor was boring and they had the Simpson's on the tv screen?? Not really sophistication in dining.

Went on a Sunday night at 6 pm. Weather was fine, i.e. it wasn't raining. The restaurant had very few customers in it. The restaurant used to be a Mahoneys. The decor was the same, they just painted all the wood millwork. Nice patio but there were no heaters. Food was mediocre. Had the tuna poke, the tuna was either low quality or wasn't fresh. Left around 8 pm. Still very few customers.

I went here to celebrate me and my sister's birthday with friends and we were very disappointed with the service. At the door, we were greeted by a very bored looking host who didn't even try to bother engaging with us as she walked us to our table. My friend who arrived late had asked where the table was, to which the host at the front desk stand pointed and said “over there,” however we were not seated at a table visible from the front. The main courses and drinks came in a timely manner, however when we went to order dessert we were offered a $30 birthday package or instead our server had offered the entire table to give “good reviews” in exchange for a free dessert. My sister and I both have a nut allergy which we had expressed to our server prior to ordering the dessert, as all of the desserts on the menu were listed as containing nuts. She had assured us the dessert would be nut free, with the possibility of trace, which we had agreed was acceptable. The cake had then come out with nuts visibly garnished on top. When we had asked our server, she was adamant that it was coconut, however when another server came by holding the same dessert, we had asked if it contained nuts and she said yes! Our server then tried to offer a mango almond dessert which she insisted was “nut free.” This was completely unacceptable and there was 0 accountability from the server for a potentially serious mistake. The server didn't even offer an apology and just kept trying to offer more desserts, which surely would've had nuts on them. Very disappointed with the service, the only great thing about this restaurant is the waterfront views.

Service was terrible — we waited 40+ minutes with no one taking our order, and the food came out cold. The manager helped, but overall the experience wasn't worth the price.

I had a really disappointing experience at Bae Side in Vancouver. •Service: Very unprofessional. We were never told that water was charged, and ended up paying $9 for sparkling water without being informed beforehand. The server didn't even bother asking how the food was at the end — which is basic courtesy. •Food: Mediocre at best considering the price. I'd rate it 2/5. •Ambience: The patio tables are wobbly, making it uncomfortable to even enjoy a meal. Overall, the lack of professionalism was very clear. Staff either need better training or the management needs to hire experienced people (and ideally a more diverse team as well). Honestly, I don't see this place lasting long if things continue this way. Save your money and time — restaurants like Earls or Cactus offer far better service and food. Would not recommend.

Lovely setting. Interesting food combinations. Thank you for the assistance with my mother's mobility challenges.

Excelente lugar para ir a ver el atardecer y disfrutar de una velada ( váyanse bien tapados )

There was a party going on upstairs that made the entire dining space unbelievably loud and difficult to carry on a conversation. We should have left. I will likely not go back. This used to be a nice pub but under this new ownership it doesn't seem to know what it wants to be.

After sitting outside and asking that the live music be a little less "live/loud" we were told it was live music so they couldn't do anything about it. We then moved inside and waited while they cleaned a table near the window. We ordered drinks and then when we asked the server for some details about the wine and the beer (beer came from somewhere in Burnaby???) and she said she didn't know anything about the red wine (shouldn't that be part of her job?) we knew things were not good. So that exchange coloured everything from then on. We ordered the food which was ok but did not stay for coffee and dessert....which normally we would have done. So not happy with our experience and unfortunately won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone. Too bad, great location and that's all!

Service was slow - took a long time to get our drinks (one beer & one cocktail). We were also never asked if we wanted another drink once we had finished. Food - we ordered the chicken dumplings and they did not come with chopsticks, we had to ask someone who wasn't our server. The pepperoni pizza was undercooked, the cheese and dough were raw. Several servers walked by and no one asked how we were doing, nor did anyone come to clear our plates. The location is great but overall I dont think I would come here again.

The service was not good at all..we were left unattended for more than 30mins and had to ask the servers to order stuff..Also we wanted to order pizza and the server told us they are out of pizza base for the night which was totally unacceptable. Then our server never showed up at the table for another 30mins and then eventually we had to tell the other servers around to get us our bill. When our own server came with the bill she was showing a lot of ego and had no smile on face and was totally unapologetic. We came all the way from Surrey but left disappointed.

We were looking forward to this but unfortunately the food was below average and quite pricey. The view and venue are lovely but I wouldn't eat here again.
