Mahony & Sons offers good food and a friendly atmosphere, though the service could be a bit quicker. The beer selection is solid, and the quality of the food is generally good. However, the recent renovations in 2023 destroyed the character of the place, which is a bit disappointing for those who enjoyed its previous charm. Despite this, it's still a decent spot for a meal, but it might not feel as cozy as it once did.

The waitress was amazing I mentioned I had a good allergy and she was asking all the right questions before I could even say my speel. She was 🤩 wish I remember her name. I haven't been there in years but this visit will definitely make me re-add it to my downtown tour.

Great eatery. My first time there. A bit loud for a meeting place. It is a pub though so to be expected. Excellent food and service. Will be back

Menu pedestrian; couldn't make an americano, regular coffee tasted like leftover coffee; chowder was too salty; meagre dessert menu...trip from Vancouver Island was a disappointment; Will not recommend Mahony's

Mahony's always pours an excellent Guinness! And, we thoroughly enjoyed the Paddy's Turkey Sandwich seasonal special. Unfortunately, the noise level was off the charts which was odd for lunch time. Service was friendly and attentive.

We stopped by right when they opened, and really enjoyed everything. The service was great, and the food/drinks were also great.

In town for Grey Cup week..had reservations for 2 but we ran into grey Cup friends so they were able to accomadate our new group of six..our waitress was amazing..5 star.. cant recall name but when we moved to new table she was still our server... Food was great too...but our server was friendly, on par ...with drinks flowing, never had to waite... Watched the drone show from our table amd tyson fight ... Cant say enough about this place

Seated immediately on arrival. Sat in the outside patio area. Great view of the cruise ship dock. Entertained during the dinner by one cruise ship leaving. Food (Teriyaki Bowl & Philly Cheese Steak) was very flavourful and filling. Food service was quick with a number of table checks. A real nice mid week dinner.

Service was very slow . Under staffed. Seriously an Irish Pub! Give me a break! Nothing at all resembles what is portrayed! Fish n chips fish resembled store bought frozen prepared battered fish Pizza was as basic as can be. Iced teas ordered sweetened teas yet was watered down. Noise inside from whatever music they were playing didn't resemble what a nice irish pub should feel like Even tho we did review menu items before going. They really need to look at what an Irish pub should have on menu and have the atmosphere decor resemble an Irish pub. This is a smile and take the tourists money as they know most customers are not repeat customers. Just to add. Was shocked that the prices listed on the Opentable app were not what was on the menus handed to us. Prices have gone up without updating!

Was a beautiful day sitting and enjoying the water view of the Harbour and the goings on on the water. Food was excellent. Was lovely enough to stay and chat with my friends. Overall really lovely time here.

Lovely evening on the east patio at Mahony's. Vibrant spot for people watching, and cruise ships coming and going. Food is excellent, the Hawaiian pizza was great, nice fluffy crust. Salt and Pepper chicken wings, always a good call! Chicken caesar salad, was delicious, and Mini donuts with ice cream - naughty but oh so nice. The drinks are good and varied, and some nice non alcoholic choices too. Service was impeccable. A firm favourite, particularly in the Summer months, but it's very cosy inside during the Winter too.

Good pub with a great view. Solid choice for anyone looking for a drink or something to eat.
