Mahony's Tavern Convention Centre

Great options on the menu in a dedicated, clearly labelled section. I went for the tasty tacos and they were a bigger portion than I expected. Lovely outside dining with a great view of the harbour. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-11

We came here after dinner for some drinks. Unfortunately, the patio was not available for us to take in the views. They offer a wife selection of different foods and drinks. It did take a bit of time for the waitress to come by because it was very busy, and she had to cover a large section. When she did attend to us, she was extremely friendly. Will definitely come back for a meal another day. You still get a beautiful view, even dining inside.

Friendly staff, food is really good, service is quick . My friend & myself have gone back there numerous times.

Très bonne soirée pour mon anniversaire au Mahony. La nourriture était excellente et le prix raisonnable. Le Staff très gentil et a répondu à ma demande pour être assis à une table normale à l'intérieur. Il y avait également un chouette concert. Merci Mahony, on reviendra et on vous recommande :)

The view and food was excellent

I like the food but its like a normal food, not extraordinary. Also the service is not that good, the girl look like she was on hurry.

Exceptional food, great drink options including many Canadian sips, and great, personable service. We loved it.

excellent experience. food was amazing. our waitress was top notch. table by the window with a spectacular view of the water. might sound weird but we loved the water jug and glasses dropped off at the table

Mahony & Sons offers good food and a friendly atmosphere, though the service could be a bit quicker. The beer selection is solid, and the quality of the food is generally good. However, the recent renovations in 2023 destroyed the character of the place, which is a bit disappointing for those who enjoyed its previous charm. Despite this, it's still a decent spot for a meal, but it might not feel as cozy as it once did.

The waitress was amazing I mentioned I had a good allergy and she was asking all the right questions before I could even say my speel. She was 🤩 wish I remember her name. I haven't been there in years but this visit will definitely make me re-add it to my downtown tour.

Great eatery. My first time there. A bit loud for a meeting place. It is a pub though so to be expected. Excellent food and service. Will be back

Menu pedestrian; couldn't make an americano, regular coffee tasted like leftover coffee; chowder was too salty; meagre dessert menu...trip from Vancouver Island was a disappointment; Will not recommend Mahony's
