i wish maizal was more consistent with their tortillas BUT maizal is the best mexican restaurant in vancouver. it's unpretentious, has a good price and good flavours. the plantain taco takes me back to my hometown.

This place has flown under the radar for me, but it won’t any longer. I had a pastor burrito and was floored. Best I’ve had in the city. The pork was perfectly tender and juicy (and in very approachable small, shredded pieces), and the sauces were fresh, tangy, and rich all in one. Will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I really enjoyed the food here! The green chilaquiles and the taco campechano were absolutely delicious. The taco portions are generous and very well served.
The only downside was the wait time — it took about 40 minutes to get our food, and there were only two tables occupied, including ours. For those of us on a tight lunch break from the office, that can be a bit of a challenge.
Maybe they were short-staffed that day, but it’s just something to keep in mind. That said, the food is definitely worth trying — super tasty!

Very underwhelming experience, we ordered 6 different types of taco and except the shrimp one, all tacos were essentially the same thing, just a bit of different dressing. The quality was very abysmal too. Its more of foodcourt in the mall vibe as well
Chilaquiles is my favourite breakfast and i tried those via uber (so pic is not awesome presentation) and it was so good ! Well loaded, spiciness on point and the plant based chorizo is a great addition! 🤤🙌
