I have no idea why this restaurant only has a 3.5?! It is my favourite Thai restaurant in the city for takeout! Everything is always hot, the spring rolls are crispy, and the spices are flavorful. Thai is hands-down, an incredible value. Sure, their indoor seating is a little lackluster, but don’t let that turn you away. Highly highly highly recommend this restaurant.
Sadly, after having been a customer here since 2010, including under the original ownership, it’s frustrating to see the slow decline with the new(ish) ownership (who previously worked in the kitchen prior). Post covid things began to change, and sadly they are continuing. First, removal of long standing items, like brown rice as an option. Then increased prices, that have consistently snuck up. Mali Thai is our go-to for Thai food! We do takeout and it’s always fresh, hot, and delicious. The peanut sauce is amazing, the pad Thai is full of flavor, and the yellow curry is so comforting. The rice and spring rolls are always perfect too. Consistently great food, we wouldn’t go anywhere else for Thai!
