The hainanese chicken rice is just as great as before, but the portions are TINY now, they have really shrank by a ton.

This our favourite Hainan chicken. We come here whenever we visit Vancouver. The feature chicken dish is perfect every time.

Authentic Malaysian cuisine and one of the best Hainanese Chicken Rice in town! I’ve been here 10+ years ago and revisited today. Glad it was still as tasty as before. The chicken was very flavourful, tender and juicy. The ginger-flavour yellow rice was flavour as well, as oppose to many non-authentic places that only offer plain white rice. Although the server forgot to serve the soup for us, it was still a pleasant dinning experience with great food!

Came specifically to try their Hainanese chicken rice set since I was in the area...not expecting much...was surprised by their flavor...not bad actually...w inould recommend.

The chili sauce although is tasty but could have use some kalamansi juice and a bit more chicken stocks for improvement.

The 3 star for service was due to the inconvenience that I encountered when trying to pay at the cashier....they ONLY take Canadian based bank credit/debit cards or cash......duhhhh!!!!!!!! They DO NOT take any US cards (not debit, not Visa, not Master, not Amex)......and guess what....I do not carry at all any cash....who does these days???

Pricy and small portions, especially the chicken wasn't great! Not worth it, I tried both locations, same result!

I wasn’t expecting much coming in to Mamalee’s for someone who is used to eating authentic Hainanese chicken rice. Surprisingly, the chicken rice here is pretty good and packed with flavour. The serving was huge and the service was memorable. The only downside is they only accept cash. I definitely recommend this place!

Small place ran but with tons of delicious food. They do not take credit, only cash and debit.Their chicken rice was phenomenal and brought me back to my trip to Singapore. The place is small and there's not much to it, but it's definitely worth the visit.

Unfortunately, please kindly NOTE the original owner of Mama Lee was from Malaysia ?? but she sold her restaurant after a bad car accident. Now, it is owned by Chinese owner. So foods are prepared differently now.
