?? At Mamalee in Vancouver, their Hainanese Chicken Rice is a must-try! ? Known as one of the best in town, it's a flavorful journey through Malaysian cuisine. The restaurant has a clean, simple vibe, perfect for a casual meal. ? While opinions on portion size and pricing vary, the chicken rice stands out for its taste. Definitely a go-to spot for Malaysian food lovers! ??

I finally found a delicious Hainanese Chicken Rice in Vancouver. It was unbelievable that it scored 3.9 points. I have tried several restaurants that scored 4 or above, but none of them were so good. The rice is delicious! The chicken is so slippery! The whole sauce is excellent! Looking forward to trying La Salle next time?

Their Hainanese Chicken Rice is on of the best in town however one will find it outrageous that they charge every little things you request including sauce.

Recently I have been trying several Malaysian restaurants in Vancouver and I have just tried this restaurant which I heard from the foodie group. It is well known for its Hainanese Chicken Rice and some said it is probably the top 3 in Vancouver.Located in the W Boardway in the Kitsilano area, it wasn’t so difficult to find a parking space nearby. The restaurant is easy to find. The exterior is low profile and the interior is clean and neat. The restaurant was surrounded by nice cooking smell.I ordered Hainanese chicken rice and Bak Kut Teh. They both tasted authentic and absolutely tasty. I’m sure nothing can go wrong with the foods and service in here. The only thing for a star deducted was their portion of foods. Especially the pork meat portion in Bak Kut Teh was surprisingly too little for the price you paid for. Yes, it is pricy and you could walk out from the restaurant with a still-hungry stomach. If budget is not a concern, I recommend this place and one should order more dishes to make your stomach full.

Great place for some de-boned Hainanese chicken. Worth the convenience of having no bones. They have been consistent ever since I first went to this location back in 2013.

The special sauce that comes with the rice makes it more worth it. Would have been nice if they participated in the trick or treat event for kids and dogs though.

Decent Hainanese chicken but was it worth $40+ for a whole chicken? Not really. Got two bowls of rice, one yellow (oil) and one white. They put them into one box and the portions were really small. The texture and taste of the rice were a bit off for me too. The curry assorted vegetables were okay. Nothing special and definitely not worth $17 for a small portion. I really wanted to give this place a chance but with their steep price compared to other competitors I don’t think I will make a revisit soon.
