Happened upon this restaurant when doing some grocery shopping. Their flavor and taste of the dishes are spot on and very comforting and reasonably priced with super friendly staff. I felt like the flavors could have been a little bit stronger in the laska but appreciated the way I felt at the end of the meal. Most other restaurants offer Hainanese chicken rice and/or laksa. Here at Mamalee, I was able to order the Hainanese chicken laksa, the best of both worlds. The chicken was boneless. The broth was rich and tasty. The Chinatown location is transit friendly, just few steps from the skytrain station. I will come again.

I think they have the best hainanese chicken rice. very tasty. taste wise like singapore styles. Their Spicy Pan Mee, very tasty too. but other foods are just regular. Price wise, I think it is a little bit over price, especially for their veggies are way over prices. their portion some are ok, some are small. Service is okay. atmosphere is clean but very small place, but a bit better than their original place
