I ordered two takeout dishes: the curry beef and the chicken with rice. Unfortunately, neither met my expectations. The flavors were disappointing, and the ingredients felt cheap and low-quality. Given the price, I expected a lot more, not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for satisfying, high-quality food.

The environment is clean and the food is hard to describe. It was the first time I ate Hong Kong-style pan-fried chicken chop. It was spicy, but the menu didn't indicate it. The pasta with it was actually the most delicious. The fried chicken is no exception.

Coming from Toronto to Vancouver. You’ve got to have extremely low taste and expectations to even give this place anything more than two stars for the food for the price. Ordered baked porkchop rice and had a paper thin porkchop mixed with sauce that seem to be just ketchup. Oh come on…..$22 bucks for that????

Their fried rice is very delicious, and all kinds of soups are also delicious. The price and portion are quite good. The main thing is that they are delicious.
As for service attitude, I just want to say: as long as you are polite to others, others will be polite to you.

Average Hong Kong Style Cafe. Reasonable price considered cafe is located in Vancouver west side.

I’ve been to this HK-style café a few times, and while they offer a lunch set that includes soup, a piece of bread, a main dish, and a drink, the variety is quite limited. The menu rarely changes, and each week you’ll find the same options: New York steak, pork chop, curry chicken or beef, and fish (either salmon or sole). The only difference is that they occasionally change the sauce, but the food itself stays the same. Unfortunately, the food quality is pretty average.

Very tasty and good priced lunch special AAA steak. Portion is good and the steak is tender and they really listen when you order medium rare.

service attitude was horrible - gave them cash for the bill and waited for my change because I wasn’t about to leave a 25% tip and I tried to flag her down and talk to her but avoided me the whole time so I just gave up. Not sure if she thought she could just get away with it because I was young and not Chinese but still, bad experience.

Ladies are rude. For the price in paying, I do expect better service than this. No matter how busy they are, they will never refill our tea unless we ask them.

One of the HK style cafes that I keep going back to. When you want iced lemon tea with less ice and sugar, they really listen to you. They even provide you with a spoon unlike most of the other places, that only give you a paper straw that breaks before you could smash the lemon.Food is always good. It’s also the only restaurant that doesn’t have a set percentage on the tips when you pay by card. You can set whatever you want. It’s rare to come by in Vancouver.

Parking: Chaotic parking lot when it’s busy. But also plenty of street parking if you’re willing to walk.
