I won't be going there again. We were looking for an ice cream. The service was rude and in a rush, even thought there was not a long line. We tried 2 different types of chocolate none of those tasted like chocolate at all. The strawberry was only fine. It was insanely expensive. Almost 40 dollars for 3 wafle cones of tasteless ice cream. Such a pity, they are located in a privileged area. They should do way better than that.

The flavours taste very chemically! The vegan icecream tastes sooooo bad, save your tastebuds and calories.

Worst ice cream ever. Their waffle cones were plasticy

This could be the worst dairy free / vegan ice cream the has ever, and will ever be. It’s basically frozen sugar. I can’t speak to the other ice cream but if you’re looking for dairy free avoid like the plague!!

The worse ice cream I’ve ever had. The mango ice cream had zero mango flavor in it. The watermelon lime tastes like plastic bubblegum. And it was $10 each.

Get a free regular ice cream on birthday, need to register on their app first! The ice cream tastes good, but no sample to try.
Many seats in the store

Marble Slab used to be the gathering place when I was in high school (along with Menchies), so naturally, I came in here for the nostalgia after a day of bike riding along Stanley Park and seawall…so happy to say that it didn’t disappoint 😭💛

The service we got was prompt, kind, and patient. The lovely person behind the counter really walked me through my indecisiveness and helped me picked out two flavors (Watermelon- tasted like sour gummies!!! & Taro - very naturally sweet and aromatic) that complimented each other.

Now, is it the highest quality of ice cream? No, not at least with Earnest, Rain or Shine, or even Elephant Garden in the city. However, I’d have to disagree with the other reviews calling this expensive, when I’ve found this to be the best bang for my buck ice cream I’ve gotten in a really long time, especially with the unlimited toppings I get in there (I’m a sucker for texture!)

I can’t wait to return a couple more times before summer ends 🥵

It has been awhile since I had been to this place. I went to the Denman branch. The space was huge and with seating area. They offer variety of flavor options. The staff were nice and service was quick.
I got the Rocky road single scoop on waffle cone. It was ok but it is more expensive compared to other ice cream stores. 1 scoop cost almost 10.00 CAD, which in other places are already two scoops. Their selling point is that you can add more toppings for free but even the additional toppings they add is very minimal and the ice cream scoop itself is small.
I would rather go to other ice cream place for better value of money.

This was such a disappointment. I’ve never had ice cream this bad in my life. By the time they finished crushing it on the slab, the ice cream was half melted. The ice cream was the most mediocre ice cream ever in my life- not even the poorly-crushed up chunks of oreo could save it. I have no idea how this place is surviving. I asked for the smaller size and they charged me for the larger. The service was poor and there was absolutely no airconditioning.

Zander is a kind and hardworking young man who does an excellent job at Marble Slab Creamery. He’s careful with each scoop and always keeps things clean, often seen mopping the floor or wiping tables when it’s quiet. He definitely deserves a raise.

Not a good location for Marble Slab. Bad customer service and okay ice cream. Not worth spending your money here. There is much better ice cream around the corner and near English Bay.

The ice cream is fine, but the customer service is very poor. The employees do not greet customers even when the place is empty. Also, they do not offer samples, which is uncommon for this chain.

Ice cream it’s ok but it’s expensive, $8 dollars for this, I don’t think it worth it
