Unfortunately my review is negative! This is not my first time being in this restaurant. The food quality and service has decreased but prices and % tips increased! My niece and I booked the table for 5:45pm on Friday. We came on time made the other. 2 glasses of cocktails, a salad and the pasta. At 6:20 pm we were seating with the food on the table and half glass of cocktails when the waitress asked do you need a box for food?!!!? After 35 minutes seating at the table. Moreover! In this 35 minutes at least !!!! 5 times random servers asked “. How is everything tasting so far “?! God !!! Leave people alone! Give them a chance to eat! Chat! Enjoy! It was very annoying!! I wish I could have booked another place! It was my niece birthday and we both had a busy stressful week. Just wanted to relax and not every second say it tastes good! And the food was by the way very average and expensive! :(

They met their usual high standards Food arrived hot and beautifully prepared. It was very busy but our wait for our reserved table was short as they cleared and cleaned our spot.

Great experience. Service was a tad slow but they were busy. Food was excellent. Will go back

I was celebrating my friend birthday at Marcello. The receptionist told us the dessert is on the house. But we got charged at the end. I didn't realise we was charged for the dessert until I got back home and checked the receipt again. But the food is good, staff is friendly.

The food was amazing and worth trying if you haven't been here yet, but I recommend going during off peak hours as there were many problems that occurred during our Father's Day dinner.

Went on Father's Day for a lunch. Food and service were great. Family had grilled Calamari and pasta along with a couple of med pizzas. Everything was fresh and delicious!!

Disappointing First Visit

Unfortunately, our first visit to Marcello Ristorante & Pizzeria was quite disappointing. We waited around 45 minutes for our pizza, only to be served one that included anchovies and bell peppers—two ingredients we don’t eat. We had ordered the “Quattro” pizza, which was described as including marinara, mushrooms, vegetables, and salame. We assumed “marinara” referred to tomato sauce with cheese, and “salame” to mean salami. However, the menu did not clearly list all the toppings, leading to an unpleasant surprise.

The atmosphere was also extremely loud and not child-friendly, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. While I appreciate the manager taking the time to apologise for the inconvenience, the long wait time, lack of clarity in the menu, and basic service make it a place I wouldn’t recommend for families. Picture: we had more slices on our plates as we were trying to figure out which part of the Quattro was eatable.

Enjoyed Italian Days on the drive with Sangria & Pesto pizza! Great place for an authentic dinner experience. The sangria was so good 🇮🇹🍷🍕

The servers were really trying their best but this restaurant is chaotic and poorly managed. Was not the best dining experienced, I frankly feel bad for the staff who are rushed off their feet and constantly looking stressed :( Has potential to be nice but doesn’t quite meet it, the quality of the food wasn’t great and really lacking flavour.

The pizza here is great! We had an outdoor table so quiet setting. Service was very good, a little slower as we were sat furthest away but expected on such a busy evening. A lovely restaurant in a quieter area away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Best wood fire pizza on the Drive.

The service and atmosphere were very good. Food is mid :(

The pomodoro sauce was practically out of a can. Carbonara was good. Pizza was good. The entire restaurant smells of fish. The best thing was probably the cappuccino. Not authentic at all.

Service was substandard. Waited a while to be greeted at tdd as blue. When server came she said “are you ready”. Not “Can I get you a drink”. We ordered drinks. Waited 10 minutes then server said they should be up in a minute. Came back 5 minutes later to take our order. Drinks not ready. All in all we were there 30 minutes before getting a drink. We ordered a salad to come before our entrees. After a long delay I bet my wife that the salad would come within 2 minutes of our entree. It was actually less than 1 minute. The server didn't acknowledge this or apologize. (The Caesar salad was flavourless). After dinner we waited a while then server came by and asked if we wanted the bill. Not “would you like to see dessert menu” or “anything else”. Of course the lowest option for tip on the bill was 18%. 🙄. Really a poor experience.

Food was great and portions large. Staff treated us like family. Very comfortable setting.
