Marcello Ristorante & Pizzeria

Had a reservation for 18:30 on a busy Saturday night. The table wasn't ready until closer to 18:40 and after the attendants haphazardly cleaned the table, they left garbage from the last party on our table. We weren't given our menus and not enough waters were given to the party; we had to ask for a glass well into dinner. Our server failed to speak to the majority of guests at the table, instead opting to relay information to one of our party, as if the guest was expected to relay the message around the table. They were able to provide a high chair as requested. The food is good and price has remained stable since we started coming here a few years ago but due to the lacklustre experience, we won't be returning.

We ordered a bunch of dishes and shared them. It was great to try different things. They were delicious.

Excellent lunch experience at a very busy weekend lunch hour! Waitress and hostess worked hard to serve many guests. Food amazing as always, especially the lasagna al forno!

We had such a great experience at Marcello! The calzone was incredible, crispy on the outside and perfectly cheesy inside. The staff were genuinely kind with my kids, which made the whole meal even better. The carbonara and the seafood pasta were outstanding, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. And the Aperol? Delicious. Will definitely come back.

I had one a gift certificate to the restaurant and have been waiting forever to be able to use it as we are from out of town. We couldn't be happier with our experience and the food was absolutely top-notch! I 100% recommend them.!

Caprese salad was delicious. Margarita pizza a little dry, but love the thin crust. Friendly, fast service.

Very enjoyable evening, I am always impressed with how hot my food is when it arrives, 10 out of 10 for that. Salad was fresh with a tasty dressing. Server Olesya was friendly and provided really great service. Paid attention to our table, was cheerful and made our experience a pleasure Thank you!

Was so nice to celebrate my husbands 64th birthday. The only disappointment was not getting a free dessert with a candle. We have been there before, and they usually always brought a complimentary dessert. But all in all a very lovely evening.

Met some girl friends at this restaurant and we shared a pizza and couple of Happy Hour pastas, and left stuffed. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. We also enjoyed half price bottles of wine. We were stunned when we received the bill as it was great value, for all the food and wine we enjoyed. It was very refreshing to eat and drink our fill and not break the bank! I highly recommend Marcello.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Quiet setting which is unique in Vancouver where we're usually bombarded with screens or noise. Service was prompt and she intuitively knew how to give us just the right amount of attention without interrupting. Very enjoyable lunch.

Food was awful. Chefs salad consisted of canned olives and canned artichoke hearts without any lettuce. Terrible taste. Spaghetti bolognese was passable but very tomato sauce in a can kind of flavour.

After I was seated, I tried to place an order, but not everyone had arrived yet. I told three different passing servers that I wanted to order, but each of them just said “one moment” and never took my order. It took 20 minutes after I sat down before anyone finally came to take it. I have no intention of ever going back.

We love this place! Food & service was fantastic. Pizza's & meatballs delicious. Great service.

Great place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. The only complaint is the noise level. It's very very noisy...it be more pleasant to be able to have a conversation while enjoying a meal but the noise level was unpleasant to chat and hear one another.
