Best Mexican food in Vancouver! Although each taco is expensive, it is definitely worth the money. My recommendation is Quesabirria taco (beef), Rajas taco (vegetarian), and Carnitas taco (pork). You will not be disappointed!

I got the lengua, camarones and baja tacos with corn tortillas. My favourite was the camarones with its smokiness. The fish batter could have had a lil more seasoning but still well made!

First, I will acknowledge that I am not Mexican and therefore have no real idea what a taco is supposed to taste like. Second, I will admit that the other reviews complaining about cost surprise me, because we are in Vancouver and so are the owners of La Taqueria and we're all dealing with the same stupid price of goods here. I have paid far more than $13 for the most mid meal of my life many times in this city, but this wasn't one of them. I ordered the Quesabirria and it was shockingly good. Dollops of cheese, perfectly cooked beef, the best sauces I have had the pleasure of tasting in a long time. The taco was crisp yet didn't shatter. The fillings dripped with delicious oils. How many dry, limp, under-seasoned tacos have I endured in beautiful restaurants filled with tasteful decorations and unctuous waiters? Only to be having a borderline religious culinary experience while huddled on a damp wooden bench with a cold wind blowing across the courtyard of the Vancouver Art Gallery? In fact, this atmosphere might even have amplified my enjoyment. In a sea of metal and glass, I was holding the only warm, kind thing: this taco. I was nearly moved to tears, but instead I was moved to write my first Google review. As a broke university student who can't afford to step inside the glitzy upscale restaurants that downtown Vancouver is known for, this baby pink food truck is a gem. Venturing downtown is almost always an unpleasant experience that lowers my view of humanity in general, but goddamn it, I'll do it again for these tacos.

I went two weeks ago to buy my lunch, and I can tell you that it’s one of the best place to eat Mexican food.
The service is actually pretty good because when I went they took my order really fast and they gave me my food like in 10 minutes and actually the dishes are cheaper than other places.
I love the taste of the food is great it taste like authentic Mexican food and it’s more than enough food, and a extra is that they give you a little a container with hot sauce that taste like real Mexican hot sauce

I work nearby and only ate from this truck once. I ordered the carnitas burrito, though it was tasty, it was no exaggeration the smallest burrito I’d ever gotten, and for $18. I had tipped before I even got the food as the prompt requires. Told the employee it was very small and she laughed/shrugged it off. I was disappointed and haven’t been back since.

Good, full tacos with gluten-free options, the meat was nicely cooked. It's a truck in downtown so you just go for pickup as it's noisy and not so pretty around but it's a good quality price ratio in Van!

I usually like the taqueria, but my experience at their food truck was terrible. The people at the truck were friendly, but the food was pretty awful.

Quick lunch or take out at the food truck in Georgia Street (near the Vancouver Art Gallery). They also have all day breakfast. I ordered the Chilaquiles. Delicious!

This place is the epitome of mediocre, overpriced Mexican food in Vancouver. $8.5 for a taco!? What an absolute joke ?
I ordered a combo ???for lunch today. The taco fillings taste good (the reason why I come again), but the taco itself tasted like cardboard today. The portions have gotten smaller too—the taco is smaller than before. ??The Baja taco only had one piece of fish instead of two. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. Compare my portion to other reviews and see for yourself.

The food was tasty and fresh. The tacos weren’t bad, but the price was high. Overall, an okay experience

I ordered enfrijoladas and they gave me bean tacos, not even with chicken, I paid around 30 dollars for that and the taste was not very good

The size of the horchata & jamaica water is a joke for the price, 5 dollars for a children glass without ice. The prices of this place are far above its products.
