Stumbled upon small cafe on Robson, we decided to give it a shot because of its high star reviews on Google… High expectation, we ordered an iced mocha and mango smoothie. However mocha is too sweet, and coffee is non-existent. Mango smoothie is mostly condensed juice. Both are disappointing!

Randomly picked; place is small yet comfortable with friendly servers. Coffe lovers, they serve good coffee and reasonable price. They using Arabica beans and well roasted and good after taste. Hot chocolate is using a Belgium chocolate.
Delicious cappuccino, chicken samosa & chocolate cake.Friendly and helpful owner, excellent service and choice.

Amongst the hustle and bustle of Robson Street, Market Veranda Cafe (Cash Only) is truly a hidden gem off the beaten path.At first glance it’s not a destination that will catch your eyes.Often, you will see loyal patrons, seniors of the West End sparring verbal jousts outside, only to be followed by a round of laughter over their ceremonial coffee.Today, the aroma of their freshly baked goods stopped me on my track.Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly smile and a counter of various homemade pastries at a reasonable price. After much indecision, I finally chose the Uji Matcha Chocolate Raisin Cake Slice. What a perfect treat to revive this gloomy Raincouver day!
