Came here for dinner with some friends on a Friday evening. We got a table right away! This is my second time at this location and it did not disappoint. Still one of the best ramen places I’ve ever been to! The broth is so rich and flavorful and the portion was quite good for the price.Service was excellent as we got our food right away and our server checked up on us often. The environment was clean and well-kept. Would definitely come back here! 10/10!

It was kinda hard to relax with the staff trying to get you tf out of there asap with swift order taking, clearing the dishes, and bringing the bill. But I guess all ramen places operate in that manner. I would go back regardless because the ramen was one of the best in Vancouver. Also, the option for 12% tip on the card machine seems unheard of for a downtown restaurant.
Pretty healthy ramen. The noodle is cooked just right and the broth is creamy and not salty. Spicy levels can go up a bit, but they have hot pepper flakes on the side.Kinda wish they had pork broth, but I guess it's their thing.

I visited Marutama last week and the overall quality is consistent with before COVID. I ordered the original ramen with egg. The chicken soup remains the best part to me. I found the char sui is reduced from three slices to two and they are a lot thinner than used to be so the texture is lost.
Tried their one vegetarian option. It was good. Vegan option was with rice noodles as opposed to their standard egg noodle, and no Parmesan chili oil. My partners stomach instantly reacted. Heard the chicken broth was good, but we came for the vegan option which wasn’t worth

Popped in for some diner on a Thursday evening and wasn’t disappointed. I had the seaweed ramen bowl which was really tasty. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. If you’re crazy a a nice warm bowl of ramen this is a great spot.

Quick delicious ramen! Cute authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant. Ramen is freshly made with their secret recipe broth that is creamy and tasty. Slow cooked to perfection. You can order extra noodles and broth. Very filling and affordable! Under $20 CAD! Quick friendly service and very clean. Great place for lunch or a date.
