Maybe I need to try other dishes. Taste is delicious, just a bit less on the value side.
Great experience good food fair price and worth it
There's a rude waitress who should be fired.
We went there for my sister's birthday and we ordered sizzling lechon kawali, sisig, sizzling bistek tagalog, galic rice, & halo-halo. All the food is ok tho we don't know the difference of sizzling lechon kawali & sizzling sisig because they look and taste alike. The staff are accomodating and excellent in service. They even offer a free birthday ice cream for my sister. The halo-halo is big enough and seems with fresh and authentic ingredients. I only think that it is too expensive like the garlic rice. Tip, we were planning to take their combo but instead we order individually and shared much cheaper than ordering combo.
Filipino foood is flavorful, and enjoyable to our palate. My family (daughters and grandchildren) has different likes. I have the pakbet, and we ordered crispy pata and shanghai and kare kare and susig. My family enjoyed the bonding while filling their tummies. We had buko pandan and halo halo shared by everyone. It’s my son-in-law’s bday and he got a cute cake with candle. 😀 We took out the left overs and everyone is happy and busog. 👍 They charged us gratuity coz we are 9, but I understand it coz i want the restaurant to sustain and maintain their business position in Vancouver. Thanks to Robert and Erica and the staff of Max’s Chicken House for assisting us.
It was the first time for my friends and me to try it, and it was unexpectedly delicious! There were three of us in total, and we ordered almost a lot of items on the menu.
Food is cold (palabok, kare kare) no taste and over priced. So disappointed. I hope they will make effort to improve the quality and taste of their food.

First time to try Philippines food. Very disappointed about this restaurant. The fired chicken is not better than kfc even lol. Yam fries have no comparison with AW. Nevertheless, it is very pricey kind of expensive. Overall I don’t recommend to come here sorry about guys
