My family and I always enjoy the food at Max’s Restaurant. However, I’d like to make a suggestion. It might be better not to leave ketchup bottles on the tables. Today, I saw a customer struggling to get ketchup out of the bottle, and when he couldn’t, he inserted his BBQ skewer into the bottle, a skewer that had already been in his mouth. It was very unhygienic, and the customer didn’t seem to care.
I hope this helps improve the dining experience for everyone. Thank you.

Max chicken doesn't taste like Max chicken in the philippines lumpia shanghai is too small next time i'll try other menus.
Complete scam — do not eat here. I’ve eaten Filipino food all my life, and this pork adobo is not worth it. Yesterday I ended up paying almost $30 including taxes and fees and got only two tiny pieces of meat in a small container. The food photo makes it look like a full, hearty meal, but what I received was nothing close — a total bait-and-switch. This is false advertising and a rip-off. Save your money — do not eat here.

Wowwww the best! Great food and Good service.
Not too familiar with Filipino cuisine, but have been meaning to check out Max's. I took out their Binagoongan Fried Rice ($19). I love fried rice, and this was a tasty dish. The shrimp paste is very pungent, so it's not for everyone, but I enjoyed the saltiness it added. I do wish it had more pork pieces (the ones included were quite soft and fatty, with less 'meat'). The tomatoes and green onions were nice refreshers on the palette.
For just under $20 including tax, I thought the portion was fair. I'd like to return to try some other dishes in the future! It's best to go with a group, so you can share dishes, family style. We waited upwards of 15 minutes for our order (2 dishes) after ordering takeout in-person, but you could taste the freshness. Service at the front was friendly.
I got the daing na bangus (I think), it was reeeally good. My wife got a beef dish and a small portion of rice that wasn't small at all so we ended up sharing it - it complimented my fish very well too. It is a bit pricey but will definitely come back.

Regarding their labor day promo of $100 for 4 dishes. You actually save just $4 if you add up the regular prices of those dishes.
This place is a scam. A rip off.
Charged $24 for tofu and $26 for barbecued pork, and the portion size is smaller than a pop can! 🤬
Avoid this place like the plague!

Food is ok, better options around but will still visit regularly
Went here for lumch on a Sunday. Place was fairly busy at 1pm and we were expecting to wait for the food for a long time but it came out at a pleasantly reasonable time.
The crispy pata was very crispy. We brought the leftovers home and it was still crispy the same night.
The bistek tagalog was ok. Didnt care for the gravy. It didnt match the beef and we prefer the original soy sauce based sauce but otherwise it was ok.
The only thing I didnt care for was the parking. There was not enough parking in front so we had to pay for parking on the side. For such a popular place, there should be more parking available.
The servers were very nice and attentive. Would recommend if you are craving Filipino food.
