This is one of the better mapo tofu dishes I’ve tried. Not overly spicy and a perfect blend of savoury on a bed of rice
Had to go for some deep-fried prawns. These were decent for sure.
The wontons and spicy sauce were very unique. I’ve never had it this style before as usually it is a soy sauce chilli oil blend.
This sauce, however, combines the flavours of a plum/sweet-and-sour/general tso sauce. Very unique and at first I was perplexed, but as I ate them, I thought this is a new and interesting take on wontons.
This is my first time here, and I am definitely looking forward to coming back to try some of their other dishes.“
