I stopped by Mean Poutine and honestly, it was one of the best choices I’ve made all week. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly loaded. The fries were crispy, the gravy was rich, and the toppings were on another level.
The staff were friendly and fast, even though the place was busy. You can really tell they care about quality and customer service.
If you’re craving something satisfying, tasty, and comforting, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Convenient and quick hole in the wall place to go when I crave for poutine! Fries are good, gravy is perfect, not too salty, and a variety of toppings to choose from.
Love the food here and the service is always great! Nasima gave some great recommendations and made sure we were taken care of. Will be coming back!!

Unfortunately tonight it was not Mean Poutine, but Sad Poutine…. We specifically asked for sauce on the side to avoid getting it all soggy, but the sauce came in the poutine and it was all mushy… sad:((

My favorite food we had while visiting Vancouver!! I love a hole in the wall dining experience. Service was fast, helpful, and kind! I got the original and added onions and bacon. The bacon was crazy crispy delicious and the onions were fat and juicy! Loved it so much, just heart breaking I have to travel internationally to have again.

Came to this location thinking I would be getting the great service & poutine I have in the past. Instead I was served fries that were probably sitting in the basket and reheated and could take out a tooth. I went back for her to remake the poutine (which did not take long at all), she had me throw out the old poutine to use the same box (I hate to waste food), and then served me half the size of the original amount. Very disappointing experience and will be my last.
