Delicious grilled cheese and steak frites sandwich

Brandon Cruze

I found it over priced for what we got. Nothing spectacular. We ordered three different sandwiches and all were made pretty poorly. They also had to redo a grill cheese after burning it quite badly. This a grill cheese we’re talking about. Most middle school aged kids can pull this off. There’s only one long table to sit too which is horrible if you plan to sit and eat.

We won’t be back, but do wish those that attend a better experience than we had.

Highly recommend because this place is amazing!
Food was outstanding and the service was on point.
Great for a quick bite or to sit and chat for a while.
The porchetta is always a winner, we also go the feature sandwich which was the Ruben and that was just amazing!
Soups are fresh and delicious as well.

I feel the quality of this location is not on par with others. Portion is smaller, I was looking forward to eating a messy lunch - meat falling out of in the between the sandwich bread and its juice getting on my hands - it didn't happen. The meat was not as juicy and flavourful and very few pieces of crunchy skin in the sandwich.

The sandwich was a bit dry. Bread was not warm enough hence a bit tough to bite. The dipping sauce is now $2, it used to be $1 - that's 200% price spike. The cashier girl was kind enough to offer adding some mustard or hot sauce in my sandwich when I told her it used to be $1 (they are both dipping sauces that you purchase separately).

The $5 kale caesar was not bad, really small portion. I won't buy again.

Used to be my go-to place when I worked at an office in the area. I’m torn between their porchetta and meatball sandwiches, but both are very good!

I ordered the Buffalo chicken and tomatoe soup, highly recommended

Had the Turkey Special, one of the worst dishes I ever had. The Turkey looks and tastes like overcooked bad tuna, and the rest of the sandwich was terrible as well. Waste of money.

Porquetta to die for!!! What a sandwich! Very affordable compared to neighboring countries

The best porchetta sandwich you’ll ever have. #contestentry

The buffalo chicken sandwich was not buffalo-y at all. No hot sauce, no vinegary/ness. I had to put my own hot sauce on it cause I always keep some in my bag, swag.

The guy prepping the parsley was not wearing gloves, was on his phone, put it down beside the cutting board and then kept handling the parsley without washing his hands. None of the people wear gloves and handle your sandwich with bare ass hands. Why. $16 for boiled shredded chicken and some coleslaw? Nah.

Decided to try this place for lunch. I had the kale Caesar salad. It was really good. The dressing amount was perfect.

I also tried the Mac and cheese pulled pork. It was good. Just really heavy (as expected). I likely will not have it again and stick to their more healthier sandwiches… the chicken one.

Overall the food was good. The only negative is that they do not wear gloves when preparing the food and I did not see the employee wash her hands right before preparing my sandwhich. As humans we have a tendency to touch different areas of our faces regularly so that kinda grossed me out as I don’t know where her hands have been. And yes, I’m aware it’s the same at some restaurants. I guess I just prefer not to see it so I don’t think about it.
