Great shop with first class sandwiches. Our take-out order was processed and prepared quickly. Special requests were also addressed and noted accordingly. Everything was fresh and really tasty.Clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

This trip was the first time we had a Sandwich from Meat & Bread. We tried all of them during our vacation. Meatball was our favourite. We stopped in before taking the train to fly home we loved it that much.

Awful. The dude with the pink hair shouldn’t be serving the public. No customer service, seemed to hate it’s job and made me feel guilty for even being in there. On top of that the food was trash. Why employ people who hate their customers. This is my cheese toastie. Wth is that. Also, the hipster pop sucks. Give me a Coca Cola.

I ordered their meatball sandwich when I visited my Vancouver office through the catering service. The sandwich was spicy and the meatballs were on the drier side. May be it was that day because I have no complaints with their Calgary downtown location where I order from 2-3 times a month.

Tried it on DoorDash for the first time, reviews said the porchetta sandwich, so I ordered it. But… I wouldn’t order it again.I found it to be too fatty.. and the texture of pork fat everywhere. Not enough crackling, or maybe it got soggy from the oil in the sandwich?I got tomato soup, not sure if it was supposed to come with any toppings, but it didn’t.The bread was unreal.. but again, the oil from the meat made the bread soggy.

The staff and service were really nice but overall not great sandwiches. We got grilled cheese with chicken and it was very greasy and not very flavourful, the porchetta was subpar and the meatball was just okay. Nice atmosphere but skip the sandwiches..

Porchetta sandwich is delicious. I wish there were more soup options - only tomato was offered. Seating is limited.

Frozen bread, miserable. Everything is frozen and reheated. Ew. Don't go.

I'm a huge fan and regular of Meat & Bread but this store just NEVER seems to have it together. Salads are almost never dressed in any capacity, the sandwiches feel significantly less fresh than their other locations because it seems like the Porchetta meat sits out longer? This location also doesn't seem to handle a lunch rush well compared to some of their other locations. I'm almost sure I never get the sandwich I ask for, and was made for me, just one that comes off their line as they feel they've made what is for the right person. I'd love to see this store show some improvements to the standards of their others because as it stands, this is the worst of their locations I've frequented.

This is my first time at this location for Meat & Bread but I have been to their Gastown location previously. I usually get the prochetta sandwich (with the sauce on the side), and found the meat delicious and juicy (although sometimes may have a bit too much fat). Bread is toasted and fresh and best eaten right when they first make it! One of my go tos for a quick sandwich.
