Walking in for dinner (around 6pm), I found the restaurant very dirty. All water cups were dirty, the dirty dish return bucket was overflowing, the kitchen was very messy. The two employees that were there were in the back not doing anything when they could have been cleaning up, not a good look.
The porchetta sandwich was dry. Not the old Meat & Bread I remember it to be when Gastown was the only location.

The cashier was extremely pretty, and all the other staff was very welcoming too. I had the buffalo chicken which was extremely flavourful and buffalo-y. The soup was also very tasty and was delivered quickly.

This place used to be awesome. Good food, fast service. Then it changed hands and there’s a new owner. Since then, quality has gone down.
I’ve given it 2 tries, and both times I’ve been less than whelmed with my sandwich. Both times took about 10 minutes, one of which the employee straight up forgot about my sandwich until I asked them if it was coming.
Too bad. I miss the old staff. They were efficient and friendly. Now the staff bumble around like they’re not really sure what they’re doing and taking forever.

I recently tried the Porchetta pork sandwich, and it was incredible! The slow-roasted pork was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender, with a delightful crispy skin. The bread was fresh and added the perfect crunch. Highly recommend this sandwich for anyone looking for a delicious meal!
Can barely understand your staff, also playing hindi music at full blast in an English country is kind of annoying I wont be back hire canadians, and I was in at 1 pm, no head management in site 2 Indian employees playing music full blast, this wasn't music approved by the office, unless you approve hindi hip hop music, don't worry I won't be back neither will my employees

Parking & seating is too convenience, so I would recommend this place for a take-out.
