I have going here now for 5 year. And this review still stands... I was given a recommendation on a good cut of steak. They are evolving from what I observe and I cant wait to see what new products they bring in on top of their butcher shop. They had a local producer in displaying their wares. They were amazingly clean. The shop was well organized and the staff were well informed. I hope they can stock more local items over time. I would like more food pairing recommendations with their in house made products. I am almost a 5 star review I just want to try everything I bought. I do want to say, this is a place worth visiting.

Fresh, delicious cuts, great selection fresh and frozen products. Try the pre spiced or take some of their house spices home. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Worth the drive I make across the city.

Very impressed with the Selection, Variety, and The Prices.
The Prices were fair , based on the Butcher industry in Edmonton. Not sure we’re the Negative reviews about his prices are about ?
The owner was Very Informative, and Very knowledgeable about the Butcher Industry…..

Meatheads has a wide variety of meats, pork, lamb an chicken with a lot of cuts to choose from. Try their meatloaf! Or sausages! Incredible flavour! Thanks Teddy an crew

I’ve bought there a few times now and this small neighborhood meat market deserves a 5*Besides the great personalized service the meat I’ve bought is exceptional quality.The pork chops are so much better than any grocery store pork. They are incomparable.This week I bought NY Strip Loins. The fellow that helped me told me I could fry them with butter and rosemary (as I said I didn’t want to BBQ). These steaks were incredible! Tender and tasty.I also bought chicken breasts for the first time. They are superior to any chicken breasts I’ve bought before. The texture was tender and tasty as well.I will continue to drive there from St Albert to shop. It’s the quality of meat that is worth the drive. I encourage you all to check this shop out. Love the name too. Meatheads! Cute

I understand about paying for quality, but these prices are entitely unaffordable. I'm looking for a new butcher after moving here, and while this one meets the quality expectations their prices are outrageous. $13/lb for bacon is simply unreasonable irregardless of the quality. A big part of being my regular butcher involves maintaining relationships with suppliers and securing reasonable prices. Other butchers are able do this, I'm not sure why this one won't. Very disappointing
