Super cute cozy location. Not that huge as the one in Yaletown, also the menu is much smaller but not less fabulous ;) Hard choices too, everything sounds great. I love MeeT and would highly recommend for vegan food in Vancouver! Oh and they play cool music too. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-06
I had dinner here and ordered the Pad Thai. It was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, fresh, and so satisfying. The portions were generous, and everything tasted so clean and vibrant. It’s not always easy to find a veggie restaurant that makes dishes this flavorful, but this place really impressed me. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and super tasty food. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌱🍜

You couldn’t count the amount of times I turned to the others at my table to say ‘damn, this is good!’
You can tell that everybody working there is passionate about food. And if you are too, definitely eat here!

Love the new menu concept, so many delicious items and free from all the junk that's in so many foods these days. Ate a lot, and felt great too!

My family discovered this restaurant years ago (5, according to my mother) and it quickly became a staple for us. We’re all vegetarian, and two of us picky eaters in opposite ways. This was one of the only restaurants we could all eat at. MeeT in Gastown has been the witness to family dinners, reunions, dinners with my friends, and I’ve taken at least 3 first dates here. I even convinced my university friends to try the location in Victoria because I missed it so much while away for school.
However, they recently completely redid the menu. No more poutine, mac and cheese, burgers, and options have gone from 6 pages to 2. I’ve never seen the restaurant as dead as it was, and I can be honestly certain that I won’t be returning unless they bring back at least SOME of the old items. I appreciate the desire for a whole-food gluten-free vegan restaurant, but there wasn’t a need to rid the menu of everything we had all come to love.
Service has always been amazing, a waitress even helped me out on a rough first date once. Wishing the staff all the best and wishing the new management changes their mind

Great vegan food that’s clearly fresh and made with care. A bit on the pricier side, but definitely can be worth it.

Every MEET offers up fantastic plant based options and this location is no exception!
Daily specials, happy hour specials!
Staff are so attentive and genuinely happy to be there which makes the experience even more of a joy.
Great patio too.
Parking can be a bit of a trick but super easy location to bike, walk or transit to.
We were on the motorbike so it was easy to find parking.

Their new menu is absolutely delicious - I will admit I haven’t always loved Meet, but their new items are so good that even my non-vegan dining partner was blown away. The options are healthier, but they’re also just really tasty and inventive. The tacos and Cobb salad were standouts for us!

We had the brain bowl and another dish that was mushroom-based (but to be honest, everything on the menu looked great. Both dishes had awesome flavours and were a good size. We followed it up with dessert and I honestly think it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted! I don’t often mention drinks in the reviews, but we decided to share all three non-alcoholic cocktails. One was strawberry and balsamic vinegar based. Strange sounding, powerful flavours, but really enjoyable.
LOVE this place - we had a lunch and then dinner the next night during our weekend visit. Food and service are top notch vegan. We loved the tacos and protein salads in particular. Service was friendly and helpful

I recently visited with a vegan visitor to Vancouver. We arrived around 8, super excited. I've been a few times over the last year but with this new menu, I can't say I'll be going back.
The texture profile of most of the menu was poor, with very little crunch. The best attempt at texture (and best dish overall) was the Jalapeno Poppers. The worst offender was the Brain Bowl, where even the veggies were somewhat soggy.
Having everything on the menu be entirely gluten free is an interesting choice, and the Lentil Blinis suffered because of it, falling apart readily and not tasting great.
It was a little strange that we couldn't mix and match tacos when ordering. The jackfruit tacos and tofu tacos were nice, but for a vegan specific restaurant they didn't exceed the standards set by tofu or jackfruit tacos anywhere else I've had them.
The service was fine, if a little slow.
The cocktails were okay. The beer on draft (Silver Tide IPA might be the name perhaps, afraid I can't remember) was no good at all.
I can't understand this downsized and downgraded menu. The old one had delicious bowls (Ginger Beefless, Butter Chickin Noodz), quality burgers and sublime poutines that we were disappointed to see dropped from the menu entirely.
There are dozens of choices around the city for vegan bowls and tacos. For a hearty vegan dining experience, I'd be much happier to go to somewhere like MILA, Chickpea, or the Hestia instead.
