Very cute and stylish little cafe. The food is delicious and tastes fresh. I especially like the sparkling drinks offered in summer. The seating is a bit quirky and small.
Dietary restrictions: No gluten free donuts at this time, but they do have panna cotta.
Parking: Free parking but the lot is a bit cramped. Also street parking on adjoining streets.

Went there for the first time with my boyfriend, and they were swatting fruit flies with a bug zapper in the donut display case with the donuts inside the case and we’re all watching in the lineup.

I don't normally buy donuts, but Mello's Everything Bagel donut gets me into this place whenever I am in the neighborhood. It is a soft, pillowy brioche with an everything bagel seasoning on the outside and and a light, chive cream cheese filling on the inside. I typically get this as an afternoon snack with a cup of their excellent decaf cappuccino. Definitely recommend if you prefer snacks that are savory with just a touch of sweet.
Added bonus is the store is large with enough seating inside and easy, free parking outside.

Reminded me of the bakeries back home in New Zealand. Excellent tea and their strawberry cream pastry is divine.
Best doughnuts I’ve ever eaten! Vancouver has some great donut shops but this one has topped my past faves (Lee’s on Granville Island, and at times Lucky’s/Parallel 49 and Cartems). These doughnuts are brioche style which takes 2 days to make and the process is worth the wait… the result is an impossibly soft, airy doughnut; like biting into a perfect cloud of sweetness. The fillings are incredibly delicious too. My favourites so far are the Nutella, vanilla and lemon. On another level!! ?? Can’t wait to go back!

First time at Mello, and I really love it. There are variety choices with yummy taste. It is little pricey, but you get for your money worth. We decided to go every 2 weeks to treat ourselves ?. Especially I like to thank to Sarah for great smile and excellent customer care.
