The place is nice, the coffee is good, there is only a 1 hour seating limit, when I asked for an extra fork from a waiter, her reaction was very rude, no matter how good it was, I won't come again.

I don’t understand why this place has such high reviews. I ordered pain au chocolat, a mousse cake, and London fog. The croissant was not fluffy, and has an odd soapy taste to it, the cake felt like it was melting apart rather than coagulated, and the London fog tasted more like earl grey tea with barely any milk.
Atmosphere-wise, I can’t fathom what came over the person in charge of decor. The walls are decorated with taxidermy of bugs and a scorpion. I’m sure I’m not the only person with a phobia for bugs. There was also a washroom freshener scent, and some heavy cologne scent wafting around despite there only being 4 other people at the time I was there. However I am very impressed with their high quality knives, and silver trays.

This is a delightful spot for baked goods! The butter croissant is flaky, the scone is soft and flavorful, and the cheese sandwich is satisfying.
Weekends can get quite busy, but weekdays are much quieter, allowing you to fully enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

I specifically asked for a very hot cappuccino and they made it for me. I asked for a vegetarian quiche and it had a bit of a strong egg smell with the salad. The short blonde haired girl working there was very helpful and I would also like to thank her (I forgot to ask her name). The only downside was that it was very cold inside. We had to go to another place for the cake.

We had a croissant, a lemon dessert, and a couple of hot chocolates.
The food was just okay, nothing special.
The hot chocolate has the rich texture and consistency but was way too sweet. It does come in a large pot though so it's definitely a large portion, filled the cup multiple times.
Ambiance felt great, and the decor is quite nice.

Your customer service is really bad. I can't even order a cake over the phone and pushed to order a cake online on your website. Your website on the order side is useless if you want a cake for specific date.

For $9 I expected A LOT more.
The grilled cheese whatever is TOYALLY uninspired. 2 pieces of wonder bread and a Kraft single. Next time, just spit in my mouth.
The service was nice and the coffee is par. BUT that sandwich tripled my bill, and it hurt. I can not leave it be. Bland.
I regret losing my hard earned money. Live and learn.

I’m really disappointed with the customer service at Melo, and unfortunately, it’s enough for me to blacklist this place despite how good the food and coffee are. I came in today to pick up a $70+ birthday cake, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish.
They had no bag, no ribbon, and no solutions for how I could carry the cake. I had to walk back in the rain, and they offered no help at all. The place was crowded, with no clear space to wait or stand, and when I arrived, the staff seemed indifferent. No one asked how they could help, even though I was simply there to pick up a pre-ordered cake.
No matter how good the food is, it leaves a bad taste when the service makes you feel ignored and frustrated. Spending $70+ on a cake should come with better service, and this experience has completely ruined my impression of the place. I won’t be returning.

The place is small, right in front of Metrotown, the bread is delicious, especially the croissant with hazelnuts, it is highly recommended

The scones were small with normal taste. The staff was rude and confronted us for sitting there too long. There was a sign showing 1 hr stay but we had just spent less than 30 mins including the time for choosing and buying our coffee and scones. Normal coffee and pastry with bad services. I regret that I gave them tips when buying our food and received the bad services afterwards. It is not a pleasant place to stay. You may only consider take away.
Good quality but I give it a 4 because they don't take cash.
4.5 stars! The almond croissant is very tasty but pretty messy. The service is great. It’s a busy place.
