A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.
The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!
There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!

I’m in love with their original michi and honey lemon custard sauce. Is it possible if I ask for the sauce recipe please? I think it would be amazing on other homemade dishes as well!
Server named Lu was very attentive, excellent service. I came with my son to try stuffed chicken wings. Special deal today (2 wings w/ salad & drink for $13, originally $16). Milk tea was rich in flavour. 2 wings were much more filling than they look! Good taste. Nice comfort food with fresh salad. It was like snacky-food, no fuss. Fast service. My only complaint is the lack of parking in the upper and lower parking lots (paid $4.5 in underground), full of Yoga patrons but if you are patient, it will all be OK. I would come back for unique wings and Lu's warm hospitality.
I remember when they just opened it was different and had more good flavours but now its not as good. Don’t get me wrong its still delicious especially the crayfish stuffed wings but I wish they would bring back the old og flavours and remove the sauces on top, but overall it’s good
-A unique experience
-Fun inviting staff and atmosphere
I had a really fun time here. The food is exciting and tasty. I don’t think this is an everyday restaurant for me but I would come once in a while to remind myself that there are people creating fun dining experiences.
I definitely recommended coming here and trying the crawfish michi, and the sausage egg yolk sticky rice michi.

I have never tried this style of cooking before. Definitely worth it for the experience.

I had omelette beef rice. It was still good but there’s only 5 pieces of the beef. Used to be more. So I guess it’s not worth the price anymore.

The service is very good and the dishes are recommended. But the food was just so-so. The best thing that night was probably the curry chicken. The portions were all on the small side and the prices were not cheap. The noodles are too hard and the meat is not soft Q. Salad chicken wings are the worst value, too expensive, just for the chicken wings.

Restaurantji Recommends
I really appreciated the staff accommodating my family and niece when we came in. It was a kind gesture to change the playlist to a kids one (we didnt ask they did it!) and I was really grateful for it. Michi was previously popularly known for its stuffed chicken wings. The stuffed chicken wings were good and interesting. It didn’t feel like much meat so to speak but also I get that it’s stuffed so it was pretty filling. We ordered the devils bowl (bbq pork and eggs on rice) and the beef noodles. The rice bowl was satisfying and the noodles were a bit of a pass in our opinion. I’d love to try their noodle bowls next time if we end up going but I wouldn’t necessarily make an out of my way trip there. Service was great but food was just ok!

Excellent food and the stuffed wings are much larger portion than it looks on menu. Would highly recommend squid spaghetti

The food is extremely good, price also.
Arrived at 830pm to have the waitress tell me that we have to be out of the restaurant by 9pm as they close then - basically turning us away because the food won’t be ready enough for us to finish in time. What is the point of opening at 830pm, just close then and lock the door.
Edit to restaurant’s response:
If the waitress did not use those words she surely insinuated and made us feel we were not welcome since they were closing in 30 minutes which resulted as to walk away. Otherwise why wouldn’t I have stayed? Moreover, I had asked for high chair before sitting down is when she mentioned this. Does having a child have anything to do with us not being welcome to sit down to eat? Were you saying we were able to have food ordered and come out in time and eat without going overtime if she highlighted that piece? Before making the decision to leave I did in fact confirm with her asking “so we need to be out by 9pm?” She in fact smilingly said “yes, sorry”. So it is not a misunderstanding. It was my first time at this restaurant and will not come back for sure especially given the owners lack of accountability to the service.
