Great spot for some sushi. Fresh, great vibe and the staff was very accommodating and has good services. There is another location in Toronto where I am from but I haven't tried it.The bartender actually recommended a really good drink - The Paper Crane. It's definitely on the $$$ but I always will pay for good sushi. The location is also great. Right by the harbour. Minutes from Gas Town and a short walk to the station. Would recommend.

For Vancouver it is probably the nicest place. I found it a little gentrified. No one spoke Japanese. But the food was yummy.

I was quite disappointed with the 7-course tasting menu at Miku Restaurant, especially considering its $180 price tag. The food didn't quite live up to the amazing standards I remembered from previous visits some years ago. While the sushi was decent, the one small piece lobster lacked the flavorful punch I was anticipating. Unfortunately, I left feeling hungry and ended up grabbing pizza elsewhere. ( small portions as you can see on the pictures)

I come to Vancouver once a year and make a point of eating here. Truly amazing sushi (and cooked food as well)! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a splurge, and definitely worth it.

Beautiful restaurant with some of the freshest sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Service was great as well. Restaurant was little noisy but would definitely go back anytime! Don’t leave without getting the sorbets! We had the cardamom and chai, so well done and flavorful!

Minku Vancouver Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a combination of delectable dishes and excellent service. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress who set the tone for the evening. The appetizers were a highlight, with standout dishes like the Edemame, Miso Soup, and Lamb Chops with Brussels Sprouts stealing the show. Each bite was bursting with flavor and left us eager for more. The Aburi Sushi selection was nothing short of mouthwatering, with the Chef's Special Spicy Tuna, Tiger Prawn, and Pacific Wild Caught Salmon stealing our hearts. We found ourselves ordering them repeatedly, unable to resist their perfection.Saving the best for last, the dessert was a true masterpiece. The Chestnut Mousse with Caramelized Pecan Brittle was simply divine, easily earning its place as the most delicious dessert we've ever tasted. Both kids and adults alike were enamored by the food and the inviting atmosphere of Minku. The waitress, in particular, stood out for her extreme helpfulness and kindness, adding an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience. While the food undoubtedly impressed, it's worth noting that Minku comes with a hefty price tag. However, for the quality and taste of the dishes, we found it to be worth every penny. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend reserving a table in advance. However, even without a reservation, we were fortunate enough to secure a table on a bustling Friday night. In conclusion, Minku Vancouver Restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with top-notch cuisine and exceptional service, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious Japanese fare.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Tell the waiter about your allergy information. "Oh, where do I begin with the delicious chaos that is miku! From the moment you step in, it's like stepping into a whimsical foodie wonderland.Let's talk about the tuna salad—imagine a riot of flavors: mangoes dancing with strawberries, blueberries plotting some sweet mischief, all brought together with a dressing that must have been conjured by a mischievous culinary wizard. And don't even get me started on the sushi pizza! Each bite is a daredevil adventure with wild mushrooms sneaking up on unsuspecting taste buds, all while a sprinkle of truffle oil winks from the cheesy shadows. The wasabi steak? Oh, it's not just a meal; it's a delicious rebellion against plain ol' steak. Tender, juicy, and marinated in a secret sauce that must have been stolen from a saucy sorcerer. Now, let's talk about the staff—they're wackParking: I recommend parking in Fairmont underground it's cheapWheelchair accessibility: You'll need to levitate up the stairs

I don't come here often, but when I Do, I ask myself, why don't I come here more often. There's a reason why it's hard to get a table, because the sushi is so freaking amazing and their mixologist makes wicked cocktails. Great dinner, great night!

Excellent lunch spot! The sushi was so good, I’ll be returning just to have the salmon oshi, highly recommend! Well worth the price. The staff were also very kind and accommodating. We were in a rush and they got us in and out in great time. I’d like to return again to spend more time to fully enjoy the experience at a more leisurely pace.

This was one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. Their aburi is well worth the hype. Desserts were not too sweet and well balanced. Ambiance is beautiful right off the water! I highly recommend checking it out if you like sushi.
