I ordered through Uber Eats and got the Any 2 BBQ Items Combination BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork with a Small Iced Lemon Black Tea. The addition of the steamed broccoli and the fried egg were a nice surprise with my meal.
The BBQ Pork had some end pieces which I always enjoy as they tend to be a bit more charred. The charred bits have some nice crunch that I really enjoyed.
The Roasted Pork had crispy skin and super juicy meat with some nice fatty parts as well.
The combo had perfect amount of food for the the price the egg had a semi runny yolk. I was very happy with the meal the iced lemon black tea was very refreshing with the meal on a hot day.
I have walked by the restaurant many times, next time I will go in and have what I am sure will be a great meal.

Definitely not the greatest place to visit nearby. Only positives I could find is that it streams UFC fights and the beers are decently priced. Other than that, I think that other reviewers summarized it perfectly: the meat is not fresh and the spices are not pleasant. Atmosphere feels normal with a democratic crowd, but service was almost robotic.

I ordered the bbq pork, and the roasted pork over rice and veggies. The pork was flavourful but really dry. The rice, veggies and fried egg didn’t add any flavour to the meal and actually made it drier. It was affordable and filling though for a solid 20$. The meal also included milk tea or an iced tea. The milk tea was amazing and had the perfect amount of sweetness and richness for me. I would recommend ordering the crispy roasted pork or their milk tea.

Nice seating, good spacing, no waiting. They have bar seats, because it's in the name.
The char siu is tough and dry. The bbq pork had crispy skin. Overall seating is okay, the rice is good, but it had too much soy sauce in it. I felt like I was swimming in a soy sauce pool. In the future soy sauce on the side would be excellent. The iced milk tea is smooth, meets the standard. And it's only +$1 addition to the meal.

After going to Surrey to study and check into lynne canyon, I starved to death because I didn't remember to bring food. I saw a special offer at the transfer station and bought a cup to take away. The green tea cheesecake was 👍🏻👍🏻The clerk was kind enough to ask if I wanted to add it. Add pearls (free) and confirm the translation requirements👍🏻
I was outside this place before it’s opening time. I wanted to get a mango smoothie before taking my bus at 10:36 am. And I said “excuse me are you open now”? (Their opening times are 10:30 am) and every single person in there turned deaf ears to my voice as if deliberately not listening to me. Very bad service.

Another good spot for the Hk rice plate. Very reasonable prices. The Roast Pork, BBQ Pork, Roast Duck have to say its meaty and, flavourful, tasty. Once again, ( back again ) Aug. 28 2024 2x in 1 month for this tasty diner bar. Once again, could not resist on the 2 meat platter rice plate. It was still good deal, plumped, juicy tender bbq pork, and crispy roast pork with large portions of steamed white rice with few gai lan on the side. Its good esp this time i had quite amount of sauces with the meat on the rice. Its much tastier and easier to consume with no sauces. Brings out more flavour on the white steamed rice. Also for note : which i confirmed the the Hainanese Chicken with Rice ( is just steamed white rice, not the chicken oil rice as suppose to be ). Will try the chicken next time. Once again, looking for to be back for the stir fry dishes, noodles etc. ( 2 meat with noodle ) next time visit. Highly recommend this place. Alot of regular city crews dropping in for a lunch meals or beer from tap cold beer. Good to support local small businesses to help them and also help ourselves in these indulging delicious yummy diners.

I only come here once in awhile if I get off the skytrain. Some of the food is good but it's the men's washroom I don't like they need to do some renovations it doesn't look nice.
