Always wanted to visit, always pushed for some other day.. what a mistake. Great flavor, quality, presentation. Every single dish was top! Service was the best, server gave a few nice recommendations that were just right in the spot, also very kind and attentive. 100% recommend

Food was amazing as always - server was top notch - noticed the kitchen messed up our order and fixed it asap, made sure drinks were never empty and just gave us the right amount of attention between good service and being over bearing. Give that dude a raise! He was working hard

We have been dining at Minami several times a year for the past six years and have always looked forward to the tasting menu, which used to be a highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, during our most recent visits, we've noticed a clear decline in both the quantity and presentation of the dishes, as well as a loss of the creativity and uniqueness that once set Minami apart. For a tasting menu priced at nearly $100 per person, the portions now feel insubstantial and the overall experience underwhelming. We left feeling disappointed—and, frankly, still hungry. When we shared our feedback with one of the floor managers, we were told that Minami has moved away from having an executive chef, and that menu decisions are now being guided by management rather than culinary leadership. The manager kindly offered his business card and asked us to email our concerns, so please consider this review our written communication. It's disheartening to see a once exceptional dining experience lose the balance of artistry and generosity that made it special. We truly hope Minami reconsiders this direction and restores the standard that loyal guests like us have appreciated for years.

I went on a date here and I am vegan, so I was unsure of what I could eat. There wasn't a ton on the menu outside of appetizers, so they made me a special sushi, which was five stars. I love this place, and the service was absolutely out of this world.
Great service by Ryan. Thank you very much. The menu is excellent. It's not cheap but overall a great dining experience like always. We will always and definitely be back.

It was a great Sushi experience. I highly recommend it, and the service was top-notch. The Japanese salmon was a first for me and it was delicous. A must stop when you are in downtown Vancouver or Yaletown.

Brilliant quality food - right up there with some of the best sushi / sashimi we've had, but while keeping a nice / casual atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Service was excellent. Food was was quite good but I think for the value, the price was a bit high.. Came home a bit hungry.. What stood out was the great service. Otoro and Chutoro wasn't top notch. Aburi, always good. Green Tea Opera, a smash out of the park fantastic.
