Not impressed . Tried the experience meal and left starving . I’ve been here before and it was excellent but seems as if the ball has been dropped

The sushi they create here is nothing like we have on the east coast of the USA, the tuna melts in your mouth and they have a great deal on their A5 Wagu.
Our server was very attentive and engaging. He answered any questions and always asked how we were liking things.
If I find myself in Vancouver again I will be back.

The sake connoisseur curated our experience and gave us lovely recommendations! The food and desserts were delicious and the ambience was lovely! Loved the chicken karaage and pressed sushi!

Fantastic restaurant, have been here many times and always enjoyed myself thoroughly. The Sushi is extremely fresh and the other night they had oysters that were amazing. Drinks are great, service is wonderful, always enjoy my time there.

Was ok. About avg for vancouver and for that price. Fish was decent. Scallops weee just ok. Rice was a little disappointing. They brought over torched sushi to canada apparently but was sadly not too impressed with theirs.
Its an ok but pricey place.

We’ve visited a couple of times before and had good experiences. Last night, the food was fine, but the service fell apart at the end. Our server disappeared for 15–20 minutes while we waited for dessert, then returned with our desserts boxed up as if we were leaving. The delay in fixing the desserts and getting the bill made the ending disappointing. We’re not sure if we’ll be back.

Food was great. Very spacious. Can get pretty loud especially if there are big groups.

For authentic Japanese food experience this is not the place; however, for Westernized Japanese food it’s decent. Their customer service is excellent for their willingness to accommodate request. The atmosphere is like an upscale diner though.

Absolutely fantastic. Great food. Great service. Reasonable price. Can't ask for much more.
The hostess wasn't very friendly at all- we did a travel zoo voucher which was a premade menu and it was good but probably not enough food for the price of 118$ plus tax
Always a great experience at Minami Yaletown. We tried a variety of land and sea dishes, and everything was excellent as per usual. Our server Bailey did a great job and made some excellent recommendations. As an aside, I appreciate that they offer both Asahi and Asahi zero as my partner drinks alcohol and I do not, but it is nice to be able to enjoy a Japanese beer together.
Best place for high quality fish and traditional sushi. Better than Miku more cozy and intimate. Get the Ebi & Wagyu Oshi.
