Mink Chocolates Factory and Cafe

Before today, I would also rate this place a 5-star cafe. Unfortunately, I encountered one of the most horrible experiences.

First of all, the staff (not Angel who usually works there) made us a wrong drink, when I told her what did we actually order, she refused to admit.. it's perfectly normal to make mistake especially if you are new, like who doesn't make mistakes right? OK, we took the wrong drink anyway because I trust it will be good.

Since I like this place so much, I brought along a few of my friends, so it's their first time experience. Not knowing anything about Minks so they might have a few questions to ask, so that might make the server nervous, maybe?

And here's the horrible thing - and it's not even about the staff. Apparently the staff was under so much stress that she had to call the owner to complain about us. And as we were leaving, the owner arrived. And without asking a single question, he started accusing us for being rude to his staff. I'm like... What did we do???

So to the owner of Minks - I myself do not buy the motto "customer is always right", and I appreciate that your staff has your 101% support. Boss like you is hard to come by these days, but please, if something like that ever happens again, please get at least a rough understanding of what has actually happened before accusing your customers.

It is sad that it's the first and likely the last experience with Minks for me and my friends.

It is very pricey. $5.50 for a small hot chocolate. The gifts and other items are prohibitively expensive. But it is a quality product. It tasted very good. The issue I had was, it was luke warm when I got it in my hand. No steam coming off the top. So, not the temperature I would have preferred a nice hot chocolate on a cold and rainy day. But it tasted great. Even 70% dark tasted amazing.

The shop is nice, the hot chocolate drinks are average, the popper seed rolls are all numb, but the good thing is that there is a seat where you can sit down and no one is there quietly.

I didn’t buy chocolate, so I don’t know the taste, but I can see how exquisite they are, and the price is a bit high.

I recently enjoyed a mocha from Mink Chocolates Factory and Cafe, and it was a delightful experience. The balance of rich dark chocolate and robust coffee was impeccable, creating a perfect harmony of flavors. The barista demonstrated remarkable skill, crafting the drink with precision and artistry. The atmosphere of the café also added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend visiting for a delicious mocha that’s clearly made with passion!

Absolutely delicious espresso drinks!

First time visiting with kids, we like the atmosphere as soon as we walked in.
I wanted something cold, so the staff suggested ice mocha. She was confident that I would like it, and amazingly I did adore it. I hadn’t had mocha for a long time because the ones I had before were all too sweet and couldn’t taste coffee. Mink chocolate’s ice mocha is the best!
My kids’ hot chocolate was smooth and tasty!

I ordered some Chocolates online and had them pickup at this location. I bought 36 piece chocolate that I believed was 9piece in separate boxes from the photo. I skimmed through the description and ordered quickly. When I picked up my order the boxes came in 1 big boxes. The lady there said she couldn't do much about it. Luckily the owner came out and seperate the boxes. I was very happy they were able to seperate it for me. Great customer service I will continue to buy from them.

Large selection of chocolates and a very unique variety of flavour profiles and dark and milk chocolate options to cater to different preferences. At $8 a pack they're pretty expensive though!The carrot and chocolate mocha cake are both good tasting but a little too sweet in my opinion.

Horrible and arrogance customer service with mediocre chocolate.

The barista was super lovely and made great drinks. I highly recommend the Chai Chocolate bar!

How can one just walk by a place describing itself as a chocolate cafe and not stop in? We were able to squeeze in three visits in five days: a black tea stop (with chocolate) and the fruit parfait (with chocolate of course) for breakfast, twice!! We were sad not to have had enough time to enjoy the chocolate fondue, since Mink unfortunately closes at 5:00. Highly recommended!!

My kids loove their frozen hot chocolates. You get a small chocolate square with your drink, an extra nice treat for the kids
