I made my dietary restrictions aware to the server prior to ordering. The menu did not state that the rice came with eggs and when I notified the sever, she was not apologetic and seemed indifferent. I was unable to finish the meal.

Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant and for customers that do choose to dine here, it would be best to double check that servers are aware of your dietary restrictions.

I have been to both the old Chinatown location and the new Cambie location; this is a review for the new venue. New location on Cambie is full of energy, and perfect for a pre or post-movie bite if you happen to watch something at Park Theatre next door. Pleasantly surprised to be able to order both a happy hour drink *and* a brunch meal item at 3:45pm on a weekend; thank you for the generous brunch hours! The breakfast burrito with terikayi beef was incredibly tasty and filling. Would definitely visit again!

Cocktails are great, but food is very average. Kimchi nachos have almost no kimchi and the pico de gallo is pretty much just diced onions.

We have been to Okinawa so were super excited to try Miso Taco. The food was amazing! Not for the calorie-conscious though. The most frustrating part was that we tried to make a reso but it was full. We are from outta town so decided to attempt a walk-in. We ended up waiting for an hour for a table which we dont mind however there were 2 tables, one for 4 ppl & one for 2 ppl that remained empty for the entire 52 min we waited- gaugrd by street patking meter. We get there are reservations & timing is important but if someone doesnt show, give them 15 min then give it up to walk-ins? At one point we counted 14 empty seats/tables for a significant period of time…they need more staff on…a host that can manage clearing tables & moving ppl through & not worry about servicing the tables…

Nice decor, trendy vibe one side with counter space at the bar section and another side with tables, ideal for groups. We tried the pork char siu tacos during happy hour time (but we did not order happy hour menu as one taco at $6 was not a deal compared to a normal plate of 3 tacos... Food was good, service was excellent.

The aesthetics are absolute fire!!! The food is tasty, well priced, and good portions. They also have a street fighter game, anime is playing on TV, and did I mention the aesthetics are on fire?! ?????

I ordered the Chicken Karaage Taco and the taste was pretty good. I ordered mine with Diego's Salsa (hottest) and they brought a medium spice salsa just in case (free of charge which was very considerate of them). Additionally, before I ordered anything I asked for a sample of the medium spice salsa and they brought me a small cup which really helped with my salsa decision. My only complaint is each taco only had two pieces of karaage, and they were pretty massive. Due to the way they were fried, it made if kind of difficult to eat the taco in bite sizes.

I split the Chips & Guac with friends and it was not too bad either. The shrimp crackers were an interesting twist on tortillas and honestly they surprised me with how well they replaced chips.

My friends ordered a Birria-Dilla (basically a quesadilla) which to put it simply, tasted like roast beef, gravy (with the sauce dip), and cheese. It was pretty good and the cheese tasted terrific. They also ordered an Attako on Taco, which I did not taste but the octopus smelled pretty fresh.

Otherwise, everything else about the place was wonderful. They had an arcade machine for Street Fighter, and anime was playing on three different TVs (different anime for each). The bar area was separated from the dining area with a glass divider. This let you watch the bartender make the drinks without any interference.
