Mister Artisan Ice Cream

This place was such a unique treat. We got s’more icecream bars! So many textures and layers of flavour. A bit on the pricey side but I would come back again!

I went to this location today to try their Matcha Tea Latte Float as part of their 9th birthday party series of special drinks.

It was advertised as a latte with oat milk, but I received a latte with 2% milk. I didn't try my drink until I left the store and that’s when I realized that it was actually dairy milk (you can see the jug in the background of my photo) and I thought that it was maybe a mistake? I reached out to them on IG and was advised that the drink was actually made with dairy milk by default and if I wanted oat I had to ask for it specifically. I’m not sure if the intention was to not give people oat milk because of the higher pricing or what but either way it’s false advertisement.

Along with that my friends and I saw an employee using the same towel to wipe her hands, the table and the outer rim of an ice cream cup (clearly touching the ice cream in the cup at the same time). So please be weary if you’re ordering ice cream.

Tldr - would not recommend ordering from this ice cream establishment

so disappointed, took a crème brûlée and it did not taste of anything, wasted calories 😢

I spotted this ice cream shop when I was walking down Robson street.
This is probably the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had, the hot caramelized surface with frozen vanilla custard ice cream inside, it blended so well together.
On a side note, I ain’t even a fan of vanilla.
I just had to re-visit this place before heading home.
The second time around I chose toasted marshmallow with my favorite ube ice cream at this branch in Yaletown.
I simply didn’t care if I was chilling or gained a pound for the dessert.

Delicious dark chocolate with matcha dip

I try to make it here on ever BC visit….The most AMAZING Chocolate Ice Cream I have ever tasted! Time after time I’m blown away by this delicious ice cream. Way better than any gourmet offerings you’d find in a grocery store and better than my local hand made ice cream shop. The Dark Chocolate Ice Cream is truly the best I’ve ever tasted.

Ice cream sandwiches are delicious.

Quite possibly the worst ice cream I’ve EVER had. Paid almost $8 for a freezer burnt, PRE-packaged ice cream sandwich. It was so bad. I don’t usually comment, but I hate places that are charging $8-10 for a scoop of mid ice cream.

I ate marshmallow ice cream~ Creme Brulee ice cream also looked delicious.

Good and fun ice cream. Expect something new.

We got the smores oreo full size bar, it was definitely too big for just one person but well worth it. Weirdly too, it was sweet but not TOO sweet (i am a sweet tooth so take that with a grain of salt)

Not sure I get the hype. The two staff members couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge my partner and I even though we were the only customers in the store. We weren’t greeted or offered help as we stood there looking at the signs.

Got an ice cream bar and ice cream sandwich dipped. The flavor wasn’t all that outstanding and the dip wasn’t all that special.

Cool concept, falls flat, flavors sound fun and exciting but the taste and texture were dull. I wouldn’t go out of my way to try this if not in the area.

Solid ice cream, got vietnamese coffee and flavour was on point, and the texture of the ice cream from the nitrogen was super smooth. Only major cons are that the ice cream is on the pricier end - $8 for one flavour - and average wait time longer than other places.

Had the creme brulee ice cream sandwich and cannot stop thinking about how smooth it was! the torched sides were so smokey and delicious. definitely want to come back for other flavours.

Small place though, only a couple of bar seats available.
