Everything was packed neatly and they are very generous with the portions. The food was great and especially for the price. It's probably the most affordable sushi place on campus. I ordered #1 to go which was $12.95 before tax if I remember correctly (as of Oct. 8, 2024).

Cheap prices compared to similar food at UBC. Surprisingly big portions for the price and quick, no-frills service. The quality of the sushi isn’t exceptional, but it’s always fresh and tasty. I’ve come here many times and will continue to do so in the future.

This is an OG and a hidden gem located in UBC Village’s International Food Court (downstairs).
I greatly appreciate the owners approach to their pricing to be accessible to students. There are a lot of food options on campus now but we always come back to Miyamae.
We love their Bento Box 1 (Chicken Teriyaki + California roll) & Box 2 (Beef Teriyaki + spicy tuna roll), each comes with miso soup, rice, salad and 3-piece tempura. Their food is consistently fresh and the rolls are made to order.
Box 1 is $12.95 Box 2 is $13.95
With tax, everything in the photo came up to be $28.25!!
