Best Greek food ever. So tasty, so savory. Best kept secret, non-descript location but 5-star food from a 5-star authentic Greek chef. Highly recommend!!

Best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to!
Food was amazing, the Greek salad, chicken plate, veggie lasagna and pistachio cheesecake were all delicious! Prices are quite fair. Everything tasted so fresh and you could tell the quality was amazing! I’m definitely coming back and recommending the place! Also the server was so nice!

This is the best Greek food I have ever had. The roasted lamb shoulder with lemon roasted potatoes was good. The meat was not too hard nor soft. The dessert Bougatsa was great. The Manos Signature Dips were yummy.

I visited with a group of friends. We ordered a number of appetizers and entrees to share. Every dish was tasty. I especially love the garlic prawns and seafood spaghetti. Service was excellent. Ambience was lovely. Highly recommended.

We went in the food was actually disappointing given the reviews. The service while they were very friendly and they seemed inexperienced. It was like somebody gave a bunch of teenagers a restaurant and said see if you can serve this. It was weird at the bottom of the receipt. Says they both accept and don't accept American Express. For being in a strip mall, the decor was very nice

This definitely deserves their best new restaurant award. I grew up in the neighborhood and had no idea what to expect. We had a craving for Greek food but I really hate the dry, sour over priced crap some of the other restaurants have been passing for Greek food over the years. Mnimes had the best reviews so we thought why not?
South Van isn’t the most glamorous and it’s located in a little mall on Victoria Drive that might look sketchy if you’re not familiar but what a nice surprise to walk into a beautiful dining room and the best Greek food we’ve tasted in forever. The prices were also very reasonable for the large yummy portions.
Our two young servers were really attentive and welcoming. Everything came out at just the right pace and temperature, and tasted freshly made and so delicious: Greek salad (who knew an old classic could be so good?), super tender Octopus, Fried cheese with toast, Watermelon feta salad, Lamb Shoulder with rice, lemony potatoes, and a humongous fantastic filo custard pastry dessert and coffee. Their cappuccino was also really good and strong unlike most places in vancouver!
The food was so good I was too busy eating and forgot to take pics of the lamb. We would have gone back the next day but it was closed. We can’t wait to try it again on our next trip back!

Food was alright. Was not as great as other reviews say it is. It wasn’t bad, but just nothing spectacular. Interior was nice and clean. Service was great, very friendly servers.

I've tried an assortment of everything there, and they have some dishes more unique authentic dishes that you won't see often. Everything has been top notch. One of my favorite good value Greek restaurants in town

Finally tried out Mnimes Restaurant & Bar for a weekday dinner. Menu is a simple one pager with a few specials. Entrees are $21.00-$46.00. Service was very friendly and hospitable.
- Greek salad ($19.00) - simple
- Kalamari ($18.00) - beet garlic dip was tasty. Calamari was excellent
- Lamb chops ($24.00) - plenty of lemon potatoes. Chops (medium) were perfect
- Mousaka ($21.00) - homey bechamel sauce
- Roasted lamb shoulder ($31.00) - opted for the rice pilaf. Lamb shoulder was huge, tender
- Seafood spaghetti ($29.00) - al dente. Good portion with prawns, octopus, calamari
- Flourless chocolate cake ($17.00) - coconut sorbet was refreshing. Small slice but tasty
- Loukoumades - fresh, doughy donuts
This place is definitely a hidden gem. Me and my partner visited yesterday to celebrate his birthday. The ambience was nice and our server was sweet. We had lamb shoulder - definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. The staff is friendly and our server was attentive. Definitely would visit again with more people ✨

I tried their Mousaka, and it was really good. The ingredients of the dish were of good quality, the presentation was good, and the flavour was great. The service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was clean, and the washrooms were apparently properly maintained.
Considering the quality of both the dish and the service, the price was fair, and the experience nice.

WOW! We visited this amazing restaurant for lunch during our stay in Vancouver. it's easy to see why it was voted one of the best new restaurants. We had a refreshing Beet & Goat Cheese Salad (Red Beets, goat cheese mousse, citrus gel) and a delicious Warm Kale Mushroom (Sautéed kale, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, sliced almonds). Plus it had a full bar and a nice wine list.
