Called in the Guinness and dinner. Nice pub, dark atmospheric, comfy big lounge chairs in you want. Had the spaghetti and a side of yam chips, both really good pub food. Unfortunately the Guinness was warm, unsure if that’s how it’s served here, or just a one-off. Otherwise, was good!

Staff is rude and very unwelcoming. Takes ages just to get a drink even though there are only 5 people in the whole place. Looks like staff really hate their jobs. Flat beer, just spend your money someplace else.

Not very clean and food terrible. Also went for food on the first night took one look at everyone and turned round and went straight out. No food that evening

First trip to Vancouver and made this a nightly stop. Thursday night had a man playing blues/folk guitar. He was great. Our server could not be nicer and more attentive. Vanilla/pear old fashion was so unique. Carmalized sugar on a slice or pear really added to the flavor of this drink. Friday late night had a DJ playing a ton of old 80s music which later turned in to more hip hop. Young and old alike dancing in this intimate bar. Lots of locals around just as friendly too. Prior to the DJ, there’s still great music, great vibes and amazing/attentive bar tenders and servers. We are in our 50s so hard to find the right vibe sometimes. This became our “go to spot”. Will miss it. The server from our first night remembered us on our last night and even what we had planned and was personal enough to ask how those day trips were.

One of the original hotels I considered for my trip to Vancouver was the Ramada on Granville. Suggestions and info from locals on Trip Advisor and elsewhere soon had me drop it from my shortlist for several reasons. However one part of my research into it had intrigued me, the ground floor restaurant and bar, the Morrisey Pub. My first night in Vancouver I found myself strolling around near my hotel looking for a place to eat and came across the Morrisey. I’d considered checking it out at least one night on my stay and why not now. Sadly, and probably because it was a Wednesday, there was no live music. I therefore had to satisfy myself with just something to eat and drink. The bartender was a great source of information walking me through the various local brews on tap and helping me choose a couple to sample. There was also a good selection of harder options behind the bar that were really tempting. For dinner I decided on chicken wings, I think they were the special that night. Anyway, it was a good choice. My order was a generous portion, the wings had plenty of meat on them and the sauce was just right, tasty, and not too much, I really hate wings so drenched in sauce you need a roll of paper towel or sometimes two. Ironically talking to the bar tender I found out that there was no live music during my stay that weekend, aside from Friday when I intended to be out late. This was one of the reasons I declined to stay there as reviews said the noise from the bar could be heard upstairs until the wee hours preventing sleep. Ah well at least it was only a quick walk from where I ended up staying and the wings were worth it.

This is a stop on every trip we take to Vancouver. They always have a great selection of beers and the bartenders are always friendly. I hate a overly lit bar with TVs, and if you do to. This is the place. The art borders on the Macabre and is great for conversations. There is always good music playing. Its a nice pit stop in the middle of the day or pre/post function from a nearby concert.

Absolutely underwhelming. We ordered dinner from Mo burger as their food looks good and is generally well reviewed. Unfortunately, it was some of the worst delivery food I've ever had. The fries were damp from being packed in plastic, the packed spicy mayo having been placed in the same container without its lid being secured with the burger arriving more as a salad than a sandwich, with soggy fried jalapenos cascading out one side and fried onions dribbling out the other. I am genuinely offended that we paid for this meal, and if we had been seated in their restaurant, I would have sent it back, something I have done exactly two other times in my adult life. Our delivery person was excellent. The food was a stain on food service. I did ten years in kitchens, and the level of exasperation I have to reach in order to disparage the work of folks who work an underappreciated, underpaid, overworked job is incredibly high. But simply put, this was the stuff disappointment is woven from.

i love this pub ,is really fantastic place to enjoy your time and drinking with your love one or friends ,atmosphere is really warm with professional server ,i recommended this pub ,because of the art and type of the furniture they use there is look like an old and ghostly style pub .

We ordered Ramble on and Bacon cheddar burger and large fries. These burgers were tasty and I think that is BBQ style burger, so that’s why it is like a “ grilled ( burned ) “ flavor burger. I like it ! I just needed more fries for + $2 options large size.

Burger was good. I ordered the Dream burger. Beef patties were very charred. Curly fries were great, but the regular size is quite small compared to the gravy portion.

I had the double cheeseburger. It was a mess- wouldn't recommend. All you can taste is the "fire-grilled" flavor, all other tastes (beef, cheese, sauces etc) completely overpowered. Somehow there was too much cheese and gravy for the poutine, didn't know that was possible.Partner called the chicken burger "okay". Truffle fries were good!

The food we ordered was delicious and came shortly after the Oder was placed. It’s everything I expected and would recommend this to all my friends! Definitely will be ordering the crispy pork belly bun and truffle fries again. Love it.

Love the Morrissey but Mo Burger needs to do mo better. Grilled taste is nice but all 3 burgers I ordered were charred too much and the buns basically burnt. Truffle fries were good though
