We have eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants down Robson, Denman and Davies street. By far the food in this place I believe is the best Indian food going. Service is good, atmosphere is good, and the energy is very loving. I highly recommend this place. Oh yeah price is reasonable.

? Pre-celebrating my birthday ?Just walked by this restaurant and thinking that haven’t had Indian food for a longest time! So wanted to give it a try! The food were quite good but pretty pricy for the quantity…Well and nothing comes with rice ? which sucks…:( Is it a norm for Vancouver that mains don’t come with rice? ??Naan : So we basically had to order two servings of naan which was $4/each for half of quantity we would’ve got when we were in Toronto ? (Supper small)Lamb ? korma: pretty creamy and yummy Cashew sauce, interesting!Prawn Masala: tomato ? based sauceMango lassi: $6/cup, wayyy too small…Overall the food is good but not very good CP value (not a great deal) probably won’t come again.

Really nice menu with options for every taste and dietary preference (vegetarian, chicken, lamb, seafood and more) with a range of delicious fresh breads and rice dishes to accompany. Service was very fast and efficient. Reasonable prices, good portion sizes, and great quality.Vegetarian options: Huge range of vegetarian mains, appetizers, and rice dishes.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved it. Accommodated her spice preferences and have lots of great lassi drink options which kids love.

Just enjoyed a really good lamb curry at Modern Handi and my husband loved his lamb korma! Garlic naan was a hit too! Service was quick, efficient and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Ordered food to takeaway. The food was mediocre at best. The naan is very oily and the flavour was off on the curry I had (aubergine). I'd recommend going elsewhere.
Enjoyed the tandoori fish and prawns, madras fish and prawn masala. Authentic flavors and cooked to perfection.Best of all, the Naan, Lacha paratha and peshawari Naan were excellent!
