I've been a fan of this place since I was a student and discovered it in 2008. The burgers are just the absolute best! The fries are made fresh each time, the milkshakes are A+, the burger creators are lovely, friendly, and warm, and everyone should go here. It feels like the kind of place you want to tell everyone about but also you want to keep a secret so it's not too crowded. They're in a different location now but the quality is still tops.

I come here fairly often for a late afternoon snack. Menu is short and sweet, which shows a restaurant is focused on what they serve best. Of course, their food is amazing, served quickly. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and has shown me kind gestures such as slightly discounted drinks and a faster burger as i'm a recent regular as well. I plan to be back often.

This is the best burger and fries meal I’ve had in as long as I can remember!! With fresh made triple English beef and fresh cut fries made right in front of you. Nothing sitting on the shelf or prefab. The owner operators were delightful and work right at the front. They’ve had this place for 21 years and counting!! I I hope that patrons will continue to support it because I would hate to see this place close down. Eat less, eat better! As you can see in the pic it has a fun 50s vibe!

This was my first time trying this place out. Friendly staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Nice and clean interior, with huge ceilings and seating available upstairs. I purchased burgers and fries for me and my spouse, and they were totally awesome. Great buns, fresh and flavorful ingredients, the tomato tasted like it came out of someone's garden and not typical bland restaurant tomato. The hambuger itself was really good. Large patty, lots of flavor but not overseasoned at all. The fries were fresh, crisp and not overdone. It was fast (about 6 minutes) but much better quality than typical fast food fare. Would definitely recommend trying this location out on W. Broadway!Thanks again Moderne Burger, you made someone staying at VGH a very happy person!

Burgers: Real ingredients, flavourful patty, bun was toasted on the outside and fluffy on the inside.Milkshake: Had the vanilla malt shake, it was the perfect balance between malt and vanilla. Hands down the best milkshake in town.Overall a great eat with wonderful service.
